Having freedom of speech - can’t even objectively comment on the budget without being locked out a thread? Not being abusive or hateful etc.

Are we really getting to the stage where you can only post statements about something and not engage in debate.

Didnt think you said anything out of turn. I dont agree with what you was saying but i respect your opinion. Very strange to ban you from the thread as far as i could see there was no arguements or crossed words just 2 different opinions 🤷‍♂️

I just don’t get it - forum rules state no bullying, name calling etc which I never have or will do, but to simply engage in debate - like in the House of Commons today on a smaller scale, mind boggling

Not sure why. Unless it was to do with the other stuff being talked about at the same time (of which I don't recall you saying anything bad anyway) but don't want/need to go into that again!

Nope. Zero comment on anything to do with Tommy Robinson, if that’s the case I expect Cosbeh Fox and Basildon something or other will be banned too!

Spam calls.

In recent weeks my spam call rate has gone through the roof.

Clearly some cvnt company has flogged my details and I'm now getting 4-5 a day from different +44 numbers all over the country.

Oddly the same. And more random whatsapp messages recently too

People who walk into gaffs and don't ensure a door doesn't slam shut behind them, takes all of two seconds to stop and put your hand out to cushion it

And those that walk in and don't make sure the door is shut. I'm talking cafe's, bars etc.

It seems part of the general malaise of people not caring about others.

Doors that say, Automatic Doors, and you walk straight into them.

I think that’s me done on here - enjoyed debating with people for the best part of 15 years , and whilst everyone has differing opinions I think it’s very unfair how we can’t have structured debate anymore - with no explanation.

I’ve lived my life speaking my mind but never vindictive, cruel or otherwise to posters. It’s a great community of people and I have found solace sometimes talking to people here, either on a PM or within a thread, I’m marmite I know but I do come from a good place always.

Cheers

Totally agree, I myself was shut out of the climate change thread for having the wrong opinion, I certainly didn’t break any rules that I know of.

This is a lie. You're often extremely rude to people and have called numerous people including myself cruel names or made horrible comments. You're extremely condescending to anyone who disagrees with you too.

No idea if you'll read this as your post is a while ago, but thought it was worth saying. Whilst the moderation on this board can be a little rogue at times, please understand you are not a pleasant person to engage with on here. I'm not sure what you put that got deleted this time, but based on your posting history, it's likely to be justified.

Podcast related - but the new EMR advert that's plastered all over the pods I listen to is so insanely patronising it's unreal.

"SMASH A HIGH TEA AT THE SHARD" "SHOP TILL YOU DROP ON OXFORD STREET." I tell you what'd lure me to take a train to London - the guarantee of on time trains and cheap fares. I'd focus on that than generic nonsense.

Also on pods but the latest Football Cliches pod was absolute guff. Rubbish MHD fascinations and irritations and the listeners voice notes were even more insufferable than usual. Think I listened to about half of it after skipping.

Yeah the voicenotes were particularly numb mouthed this week. Also that chat about minute 0 actually being minute 1 as an irritation... come on now.

--------

On a podcast note that doesn't grind my gears, the Screen Rot podcast has been delivering week after week for the past year and a bit and now seems to be deservedly gathering some steam. Great stuff if you like people dissecting weirdos with massive internet followings (which I do)
