lol no, I have been trying to negotiate lower prices on their today. I get the feeling I might not have been the first to ask, given the replies :D

I don't mind people asking to drop the price a bit. I think the sellers put a bit extra on knowing people will ask for a bit off. But when people are asking for it to be sold at 1 third of the original price on the first day, it's annoying. It's not realistic.

Yeah a third is taking the piss.

Post it on here let's have a look.

I think we used to have an ebay thread. I can't see as it would do any harm.

I've just had someone message who doesn't seem like a complete idiot, if it doesn't sell to them I'll stick it on here.

The way people message you on selling sites like Gumtree. I've got a tv on there atm, and the cheek of some people is one thing with one guy demanding £90 off the asking price and me to deliver, but rudeness is another. I'm not asking a formally written email or anything, just something like "Alright mate, you still got this Tv? Would you take £100 for It?" But no, I keep getting stuff like "100 Tv" or "60 I want now"

Like I say I'm not asking for a letter, or the complete works of Shakespeare, but does it really take much to compose some kind of a message?

This.

I once sold a phone on Gumtree. It was horrendous. It was on for £200, no offers. The same were going for around £300 on ebay, but I couldn't be bothered with the fees and all the hassle.

I got replies like "I give you £95, you deliver to me now"

Unbelievable.

That was just my opening offer.

You were supposed to hit me back with £165

Then we'd settle on £120

Then you deliver to me (now)

People who use LinkedIn to boast about their new promotion and sexy job title. Or their latest business trip, or their new client, or the award they've just won. Or their latest blog, or their new product, or listing the feedback they've just received about how wonderful they are.

Fvck off the lot of ya. Some people's ego's are out of control. It's vile, ugly and makes me sick.

That is all...

Other lads that try it on with your girlfriend in general but more specifically over social media. (Not that it's happened recently & I'll probably tempt fate now)

one of the big reasons I hate social media sites. People say stuff that they'd never even dare to say if they were face to face lol

I'm on LinkedIn.  Just search for 'megastar' and 'genius' and you should find me.  And I didn't boast about my promotion from 'superstar' so my ego's well in control IMO.

Politically my views are mostly central but I'd say that I lean marginally to the right but I find annoying how some right wing leaning people constantly use Venezuela to decry socialism - it's a bit like saying capitalism doesn't work because Pinochet threw people out of helicopters. That's a simplistic strawman argument I know but it's not a fair comparison.

Also all of the "If this was an English club and it's fans" brigade in the media atm about the Köln fans.
