False information given by a local business.

I tried to email, from the address given on a business website I was looking at, about a product enquiry - only to be told via email by someone with the same name that I emailed the wrong person. The business looks quite real though.

When this person emailed, he asked where I got the information (i.e. his personal email address) from - so I gave him the business link to its contact details.

He then replied saying the number given by this particular business doesn't work and recommended me not to use it a a result of this.. lol

Hi,

I need a new wiper stalk fitted on to my *Car information moved*
Are you able to provide this service? Already got the new part.

(Apparently it shouldn't take too long to do as it doesn't require removal of airbag etc.)

Thanks

Apologies for any inconvenience.

I can't believe they are actually using my email, from the look of the website it doesn't seem very genuine and I did try to call them it seems that the number does not work.

I would look else where if I was you haha.

Thanks for replying

William I have actually just spoken to the garage on his mobile.
I tried to contact you then via phone to say contact the mobile on the site it seems he has made a genuine mistake and put my email up by accident. He's going to get that sorted.

So I apologise for maybe putting you off the garage haha,

Thank you very much for investigating on this..
Am surprised that you haven't received any more queries like mine..
Nevertheless, will give the business a try and again apologise (on the business' behalf) about this confusion.

IKEA. Fvckin nightmare.

Not only is the shopping experience horrendous but the stuff gets delivered and half of it's missing.

Have the shop got the bits? Of course not! They have to be ordered from Sweden and will take 7-10 working days.

Never mind son, you'll just have to sleep on the floor for the next week while we wait.

Really should know better after all these years than to shop at this shit tip.

There's just a mix up with DHL.

The deliveries are behind the neighbours' shed.

Not really. They're already dead, they just died for nothing because instead of being made into a tasty burger, they're left rotting and going off in a DHL warehouse.

Well surprisingly the missing parts arrived from Sweden this morning after only 3 working days, not the 5/7 quoted - excellent service IKEA

So I eagerly unpack them to finally build my sons new bed which has been in bits on his bedroom floor since last Thursday.

And low and behold, they’re not what I ordered and they don’t fit!

I could chose to get angry and write a snotty complaint but I cba.

Oh well, let’s try again. Another week sleeping on your mattress on the floor son. But he’s only 8 and he doesn’t really give a shit
