Leave the plate with their stupid ****ing pastries out in the stairwell, that'll get the message across.

That's a bad move, a lot of students are petty buggers and will happily make your lives uncomfortable.

This is true

When I was in halls of residence with a shared kitchen someone went to the trouble of unwrapping my cheddar, placing a pube on the cheese, then rewrapping it before returning it to the fridge !

Those that maybe don't have a huge number of contact hours or just in the evening when bored will do loads of shit like this lol

We'd regularly wrap the door of someone in foil so they have to bash through it to get out and just annoying little things for a laugh. Childish as hell but bloody hilarious

Who does that? At least have the decency to rub your sack across the cheese, remove any pubes and re-wrap.

Shows on streaming services that attempt to disprove your profession, with opinions and misquoted studies, usually hosted by people who have read a paragraph on Instagram written by an opinionated burk who feels the need to force their opinions of people, rather than facts.

The show I reference is "Game changers", as someone who works in the world of dietetics I strongly advise if anyone was to watch it, do so with a pinch of salt (Pink Himalayan of course). Rant over :D

It is unfortunate.

But look.on the bright side, at least it's not as bad as shows that actively endanger many many lives through public health crisis or inaction either now or in the future - yes, "Vaxxed" and "The Great Global Warming Swindle", I'm looking at you.

Oh Christ, I remember when that was broadcast.  The main office gammon came in the next morning and triumphantly declared that at last that there was firm evidence that climate change was all bollocks.

I thought it was of dubious quality even as a layperson, but everything I've read about its making (including from those quoted in the programme and supposedly had their words used massively out of context) suggests that the decision to put it out, by a public service broadcaster, was questionable to say the least

lol someone at work literally said they were going plant based after watching this earlier today, and their partner has now downloaded a list of plant-based food sold by the supermarket they shop in as they also go all in following this show.

Any more info to fire at them so I can try and rebut? I was skeptical when I heard about it in the first place. Arm me with knowledge.

KSI Logan Paul boxing match is Pay Per View. Two amateur boxers FFS.

Maybe its because I'm in my 30s and dont get the hype with youtube stars that dont offer anything to society but what a load of shi t that is.

The flip side of course is that if the public are stupid enough to give them money then why wouldnt they exploit their position?

I give a lot of credit to people like KSI, tbh. I remember watching his videos of FIFA and the early days of his "Sidemen" gang when I was into that about 5-7 years ago. Stuff was fresh, funny, entertaining, but he's savvy enough to know he needed to diversify to keep himself relevant.

So, I can't argue with him maximising his career and income since those early days but you're absolutely right. The whole show is of zero interest to me and the whole boxing match is a joke hyped up by Hearn. I've seen some boxing fans on one of the forums taking positives how people will get into boxing and create new, long term fans. I'm unconvinced.

People have the right to choose. But when their choice means spreading 'facts' with no scientific support and in some cases having been proven to be wrong, then it's too far

Sorry i was suggesting the right to not vaccinate rather than campaign against it.

Your obsession with me verges on disturbing.

No other member on this site has quoted me more than you.

I respect your mental health issues and accept your need to attempt to bully me, i have, for the past six months ignored your cheap childish insults, but equating me with Hitler and Farage is going beyond the pale.

How bout you grow up and **** off

No.

Not when it comes to vaccines. Everyone should get them and everyone should get them paid for by the state.

Shouldn't cost you anything but should be compulsory.

You don't get your kids vaccinated you should have them removed by social services.

So the government should be able to inject anything into your child as long as they deem it useful?

It's not just anything though is it, these are clinically tested and working vaccines that prevent the outbreak of serious disease amongst the population.

Something like that is an example of why I believe words as well as deed to be important. If people watch stuff like that and then are motivated directly by such sources to make political decisions that mean bad consequences for a great many people later on, then those speaking the words in the first place share responsibility for inciting.

If the vaccines are approved and not doing so would present a clear and present health danger to a great many people around you in public (immunocompromised people being highest on that list), then yes.

Which they are, and which it does.
