This is what she tweeted.

She had tweeted: “Little sweaty jocks, sending us Ebola bombs in the form of sweaty Glaswegians just isn’t cricket.”

Her nose is so up in the air that if it was any higher she'd be sniffing moon dust.

It's also in the Independent.

She's a caricature Rince, someone to laugh at rather than get annoyed or offended by. Anyone who feels they have to make such comments to stay in the spotlight really isn't worth getting het up about.

What I find most interesting about her is that the media keep giving her the rope and she keeps taking it. The media will be well aware of how much the public really want Hopkins to get her comeuppance and I'm absolutely convinced that one day she is going to get absolutely destroyed by the people who 'made' her. She deserves it too.

The sheer denial and absolution of any kind of responsibility from the mother in her Facebook post is utterly appalling.

 

She was your child. She was your bloody child. And through your total lack of any kind of empathy, this happened.

 

Perhaps I shouldn't be pointing the blame finger solely at the mum but right now it's hard to really give a shit considering the level of emotional abuse it must have taken to force that girl to kill herself.

That must be a really tough place to be as a parent though. The kid is 15, just turned 16 and is talking about having some pretty serious life changing alterations. At that age is he/she really, truly, 100%, no doubts whatsoever, totally convinced that that is what he/she wants for the rest of her life? Is he/she even capable of properly considering the enormity of a decision like that at that age? Maybe, just maybe, telling him/her to wait until he/she was 18 was pretty sensible advice.

I don't think they said wait until you're eighteen, I assume that eighteen is the age s/he can start gender reassignment therapy or whatever without the parent's consent. They basically refused to countenance it and punished him for coming out as gay.

I've only read that one article, but I don't think you can read that much into it. It's possible they were outright against it but equally possible that they said no now on the basis that they would accept whatever decision he/she made when he/she became legally entitled to make it. I think I'd really struggle to approve something like that for a 16-year-old I didn't even know, never mind if it was my own child. Really tough position for the parents.

Reports coming through of 2 men armed with kalashnikovs burst in to the offices of French satirical paper 'Charlie Hebdo' and open fire, killing up to 10 people, depending on reports. The paper has been in trouble before for cartoon caricatures of muslim leaders (as well as many other people), with it's latest tweet being a cartoon of IS State leader Abu Bakr-al-Baghdadi. Obviously it's still unclear whether that has any involvement in the shooting, though you wouldn't be surprised.

A jilted wife has been arrested amid reports she chopped off her cheating husband's penis twice.

According to reports in China, two-timing dad-of-five Fan Lung, 32, used his wife's phone to send lover Zhang Hung, 21, a saucy email from his marital home in Shangqiu.

But he forgot to log out of his account and his stunned wife, Feng, 30, came across the message along with several others, which sent her flying into a rage.

Furious, she's said to have grabbed a pair of scissors and stormed into their bedroom, where he was sleeping, and snipped off his manhood.

Fan was rushed to hospital, where the organ was sewn back on.

However, Feng is then reported to have sneaked back into her husband's hospital room and cut off his penis for a second time, this time throwing it out of a window.

"Staff rushed out to see what was happening and found the patient with blood streaming down his legs hitting the woman.

"He was stopped and the woman was taken in for treatment, and then we discovered she had chopped his penis off again."

Doctors and police officers combed the area outside but failed to find the man’s missing member. They believed it may have been taken by a stray dog or cat.

"He is now in a stable condition but is extremely emotionally distraught."

Fan’s lover who arrived at the hospital said she planned to marry him as soon as she could.

She said: "It doesn’t matter that he’s lost his fertility, he has five children already."

Fan’s wife Feng was discharged and is now under arrest for grievous bodily harm.
