I was talking to my sister at the weekend about the Meghan Markle thing. I was thinking back over the timeliness, and her and Harry started dating in 2016, when some level of bad press started. They seemed to welcome her to the family, but the British tabloid press were quickly going in on her. This built up over time and there is documented proof that she received worse publicity for similar incidents than Kate did. They married just over 4 years ago in 2018 and quit the Royal Family in 2020. We don't know a lot for sure, but from interviews and reports we know they brothers have been in some kind of fued for 4 years, we also know that Harry spoke to members of the family (not named but his interviews seem to point to it being Charles and William) about the presses treatment of his wife around that time too. They eventually quit the Royal Family 2 years ago before giving the much maligned Oprah interview. So if this fued has been going on for 4 years, it's not because of that interview, it's not because they quit, it stems from they moment Harry asked for help getting the press to back off Meghan. 

 

If William has the arse with his brother because he asked for help with the presses treatment of Meghan, especially after the treatment their mother received and ultimately the nature of her death, what does that say about the attitude of our future King? Is he trying to get a place in this thread.

Horrible enough to hear about how a depressed 14-year-old girl was easily able to view thousands of posts recommending or glorifying self-harm and suicide.

But the fact that algorithms from such sites specifically recommended lots of these sites to her is nauseating.....and then these firms drag their heels about doing anything to remedy such issues. Stomach-churning.

Some people and some businesses will just do anything, whatever the consequences for others, provided they make a lot of money, won't they?

I've seen different people with their tongues split in half, their eyeballs black with tattoo ink, and their ballsacks pumped with enough saline solution that they look like they're permanently riding a space hopper. 

 

Body modification is as old as time... Nothing is surprising.

I started following it but struggling after yesterday's revelations. I read, listen to and watch a lot of stuff about true crime and killers but this one is too hard for me to understand. The prosecution case so far is so disturbing that I can't even begin to imagine the motive. There are only two women serving life sentances in the UK as far as I know (Rose West and Joanne Dennehy), Letby would be surely be the third if found guilty.
