Corky Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Go on Shreevesy, go and tell Cristiano he's not in the final.
Guest shearfox Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Munich Chelsea final who would have thought that...
MC Prussian Posted 25 April 2012 Author Posted 25 April 2012 Unbelievable. Both Messi and Ronaldo c*ck it up so big time in the space of two days. Fück Gayern. Chelsea for me now. Please. Please.
Kitchandro Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Bayern Munich making all their German's take the penalties. Clever Bayen, clever. Ronaldo and Ramos missing has made my night
Happy Fox Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Bayern will thrash Chelsea. The German mentality will see winning the final.
21st Century Fox Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Going to be really torn in the final now. Chelsea are underdogs but I have a soft spot for Bavaria.
foxfanazer Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Bayern will thrash Chelsea. The German mentality will see winning the final. Just like barca were supposed to
Happy Fox Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Just like barca were supposed to The final is in Munich right? Their fans will not forgive them if they loose the final they should beat Chelsea imo, Mueller, Robben, Gomez etc are big game players, Chelsea will bottle it.

Not seen anything in di matteo's Chelsea reign to suggest they will bottle it. Will be tough certainly but it's not as much of a task as what they've already faced. Is robben suspended? Who is out for bayern?
StanSP Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Bayern Munich making all their German's take the penalties. Clever Bayen, clever. Ronaldo and Ramos missing has made my night Alaba's Austrian, but yes I get your point . I'd love to know how many times a player has scored a penalty in normal time, but then gone on to miss one in the shoot-out or vice versa.
ADK Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Paul Gallagher > Ronaldo > Messi (well if penalties count)
Kitchandro Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Alaba's Austrian, but yes I get your point . I'd love to know how many times a player has scored a penalty in normal time, but then gone on to miss one in the shoot-out or vice versa. oh tbf I missed the first one I'm sure there are some famous ones where that's happened but I can't remember.
Jimothy Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 oh tbf I missed the first one I'm sure there are some famous ones where that's happened but I can't remember. Gyan for Ghana did it the other way. Missed the penalty that would have sent them through against Uruguay, only to score in the shoot-out minutes later. That's the most famous example of that kinda thing I can think of.
Matt Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Bollocks think Chelsea have a very good chance of winning it now. Gutted I wanted Jose to win it at Chelsea's expense and shove 2 fingers up at Abramovic. Oh well, c'mon on Bayern....

Yeh I was trying to think of some and that's what kept popping up in my mind. I think Zico did that in Mexico 86 as well And also when Holland played Italy in Euro 2000 and they missed 2 penalties in normal time and then 3 in the shootout I think. Frank De Boer missed two himself
Stevosevic Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Chelsea will really fancy this now - hope they do it.
Jaspa Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Is this more of an omen for the Euro's ? Spain flopping, but having Torres back Germany vs England ?? Huge noises have been made in the last two days
BlueSi13 Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Lessons to be learnt? For me its that La Liga isn't as strong as thought, that the Premier League isn't as bad as believed, and that the Bundesliga will always be competitive. Bayern Munich will be clear favourites but as i said yesterday, Chelsea were moments away from being dumped out by Napoli, and they are currently 6th place in the Premier League, they won't have anything to lose.
ScouseFox Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 More lessons to be learnt are that anything can happen in cup competitions, anyone, no matter how good, expensive or how much of a "genius" they are can fail to score from 12 yards and that Germans will always be the superior race when it comes to penalties.
accessory Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Paul Gallagher > Ronaldo > Messi (well if penalties count) As if Gally will ever have the pressure of taking a spot-kick in a Champions League semi..
nothin2seehere Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 Bayern will thrash Chelsea. The German mentality will see winning the final. Like Barcelona were supposed to thrash them? Give it a rest.
AKCJ Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 Not seen anything in di matteo's Chelsea reign to suggest they will bottle it. Will be tough certainly but it's not as much of a task as what they've already faced. Is robben suspended? Who is out for bayern? Badstuber, Gustavo and Alaba. Two of their first choice back four and their ball winning box-to-box midfielder.
AyewJoking Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 Badstuber, Gustavo and Alaba. Two of their first choice back four and their ball winning box-to-box midfielder. Who's out for Chelsea? Ivanovic, Terry (two of their first choice back four) Ramires (mobile attacking midfielder) who else?
