Niko isnt Russian

I loved GTA IV, why oh why did I get rid of it????????

His actuall nationality is never mentioned and it is only ever suggested that he can speak and read Serbian, which doesn't nesc mean he is Serbian.

Although granted the way he acts towards the Russians in the game sort of suggests he isn't Russian.

Yep yep! They teased a reveal of some sort for November, I'm guessing that'll be the next trailer - and judging by Rockstar Norths previous reveals, this one will hint a little bit more at the story. Can't wait

Saw this morning on gamerspy the map is bigger than gta 4 red dead redemption and San Andreas combined!!! You can flip the bird to pedestrians, also back planes, helicopters, Bmx and mountain bikes also jet skis. 3 main charictors which you control, If your on a job with 1 the others still carry on normal life and you might see them walking down the street with shopping etc. if doing a mission where all 3 are used, you can switch between charictors so you can drive or be the guy sat in the back shooting. Buying businesses is in the game to and you can even Play a full round of golf. Think Rockstar have really gone for it this time! I can't wait.

Seen all this too. I dread to think how many discs the xbox version is going to be.

All I want is a return to 'Levelling Up', especially the vehicles. In fact that would work quite well with 3 protagonists. Each one has an initial set of 'skills'. And you can therefore choose who would be best suited to a particular job or your playing style...

Oh and PLEASE stop the stupid 'come out and play with me' phone calls, really annoyed me.

As you control the 3 counterparts, my guess is that social calls won't be as invasive as in GTA IV. Probably just pop up every now and then if you've ignored one for a particularly long time. Really not sure how the game will feel playing as multiple characters, doubt you'll feel as connected as in previous games but it's still going to be great. Map sounds mental big which is one thing I loved about San Andreas - if you're ever bored just grab a Sanchez and go exploring/cause some chaos

I used to love that, going to the bottom left corner of the map and riding around the complete wilderness down there. Buzzing for it, has potential to be an absolutely incredible game.

Been hooked on San Andreas for the last couple of weeks now. Surprised ive completed it in such a short amount of time, did the final mission for it this morning but still haven't got as far as robbing the Casino in LV - no idea where i've gone wrong lol. Love it for the submissions and challengers though, sounds queer but tagging/horseshoe collecting, car imports and exports are all cool. Got to the point really where I can pretty much drive to anywhere on the map and know the way off by heart. Just hope that the map on the new game won't end up being too big.

CJ in the middle and Tommy Vercetti on the right?

No it's, Trevor, Franklin and Michael.

On the subject of Roman, there have been rumours other characters from previous games will turn up in GTA V. Dan says that no one before GTA IV will be in it – the move to HD created a schism in this fictional universe, rendering CJ, Tony and co, as mythical characters from a bygone era. But will we see stories from the previous game looping into this one? "I think that might be too mannered," says Houser. "Nico had a particular kind of story and we're trying to make this different. We might allude to things from that world, but we didn't want it to feel like, well, here's the opposite of an immigration story – we wanted a fresh take on what it means to be a criminal in this world of hyper-real Americana".
