Just watched Firefly again for the first time for years.

Definitely one of the best one series TV shows ever in my opinion.

Loved revisiting it, and had forgotten just how dark it is in places

One of my all-time favourite shows. I was one of the 3 people who watched it when it originally aired.

I have the DVD set and it's always a great go-to when it's been awhile since I'd last watched.

'Objects in Space' is definitely a dark episode and one of the best. 'Out of Gas' is probably tops for me.

It's just so good. And a young Christina Hendricks in a few episodes as well....oh my.

My equivalent "comfort blanket " box set, although not single series, is probably Northern Exposure. Again a show that about half a dozen people seemed to watch first time round but that is absolutely brilliant,  with a phenomenal cast and great writing.

I remember the show, but I actually have never seen it.

Northern Exposure was great. I even had the special edition DVDs that had a puffa jacket style slip cover.

Watched the first season of Ludwig recently, enjoyed it far more than I thought it would, although it starts getting formulaic towards the end.

David Mitchell has made a decent career out of playing himself.

I'm absolutely going to go against the grain here, and I enjoy a saccharine comedy as much as the next man - I love Trying - but I think Ted Lasso is shit. I like the cast, I like the premise, I can see why people love it. But I just think it's crap. I really struggle to watch an episode of it, skin crawling

I struggled through 5 or so episodes and could not believe that I was watching the same programme that had received so much praise.

I found it all dead weird man. I really love Brett Goldstein and Nick Mohammed but neither of them had funny / good parts imqho. A proper weird watch where the pieces were there they just didn't fit for me

I reserve it for when I'm feeling ill and binge 6 episodes at a time while in and out of consciousness.

I think Gervais’s ‘Alley Cats’ may hopefully break records on review websites for being the worst show ever made.

Is it that bad? I saw a lot of people saying it was poor online

I used to love Ricky Gervais but this Alley Cats looks shit.

He’s been recycling the same gags and casting for years. Saying c*** every other sentence isn’t comedy.

I like a lot of his work but the more I see or hear him now he seems to have actually turned into David Brent.

Deliberately avoided it. Gervais lost his touch years ago IMO
