I was disappointed to find out that the new season of Landman has been pushed back to 2027, it's been a long time since I was looking forward to a new season of anything

This is class news - it's some of the funniest stuff bbc three ever did I reckon and always found it baffling it never found a wider audience. The Tess Daley/Winkelman characters and Alan/Jimmy Carr as the Krays still do me in.

I nearly missed out as the premise makes it sound like the worst programme ever, and I think my wife and I basically watched it by accident once when we were up with our then baby daughter and were too tired to switch over when it came on, and were instantly hooked.

The Americans liked it enough to remake it (and naturally mess about with it so it wasn't as good)

Exactly - have always had to stress when recommending it to friends that on paper it sounds awful, but is so worth giving it a watch.

It's a completely different type of show, but thought Lovesick was similar - given how bad the ideas sound you wonder how they got the green light but very glad they did

Just recently got Disney back and I watched the first episode of the new show 'Furious' with Emmy Rossum(Shameless US).

Crime dramas aren't my favourite thing, but I liked the first episode and will continue with it.

They also have 'American Horror Story', which was recommended to me by my niece, who as 'interesting' taste in movies and shows.

I do enjoy the 'horror' genre, but the actors who play as the main family are kinda blah. But otherwise the episodes were decent.

I see there's 12 seasons of it. Not sure if I wanna try to tackle that.

I love American Horror Story, each season is a completely different scenario which i really like. The early seasons are probably the best (for me anyway) the carnival one is so good but weird af.

I'll probably continue with the first season and see if I feel like going into it further.

Thanks Suz, oh and why did you abandon us Wordlers? :D

I haven’t seen some of the recent series but my favourite is asylum.
I really like Sarah Paulson. She’s a great actress.

Climax of season 3 of Silo was amazing

Yep - they knocked it out of the park.

Though they didn't answer the important question:

What the **** happened to Peter Gabriel?!

Spider-Noir canceled after one season and eight episodes.

Bonkers.

This had so much potential, could and should've been bigger.

It was alright and something different, but it didn't leave me clamoring for more.

Thought S2 of The Gentleman on Netflix was excellent. And Vinny Jones can actually act a bit.

Have you never seen Snatch? He was great in that.

Yeah he was and I think over the 25 years since he's developed into a half decent actor tbf. He had pretty much all the dialogue in episode 7 of The Gentleman S2 and absolutely nailed it.

It’s fantastic isn’t it

Theo James who plays Eddie should be the next James Bond for me. I think he'd be perfect for it.

He said he was to old to take on the role, as in he has stable family life with kids etc & a cinematic role like James Bond would consume that and sacrifice to much in terms of privacy and reality of his and his family’s life.

It’s 1 of the reasons Daniel Craig wanted out.

I wonder who the next 1 is thou as Theo was talked about as a candidate after S1.
