There is games where Wood and Nugent will not feature, through injury or suspension.

So of course we have to deal with our other options, those being Vardy and Waghorn. If they aren't good enough, then stick five in midfield like some people wanted, or simply replace them with a loan striker, the loan window is now open, and look what teams have done already in the past week, Afobe, Wickham and DJ Campbell all stepping down a division.

We can't rely on one man, Wood this Wood that, you can't guarantee that he would of made a difference today, Wood himself has had a couple of off games recently.

I wouldnt say Wood has been off the last couple of games. If by "off" you mean he hasn't scored then you are correct. But Wood for Leicester is about so much more than that. He holds the ball up exceptionally well, which gives us time, which brings others into the game which is why we've been banging the goals in recently and why our defence has been mostly untroubled.

Today, that didnt happen because neither Waggy or Vardy are capable of doing this

I can't believe Wolves are hovering over the drop zone, anything can happen in this league and I was half expecting this at their place.

Posh, Barnsley and Millwall. All of the Same upsets as last season really.

Bogey teams, but we have put away a lot of the weaker sides this season which is why we are where we are.

Just got back, and that was a disgraceful performance. And no it isnt an over reaction. They deserved it, and for once i lay all the blame at NP's door.

We all knew what to expect with Vardy playing. Hes not up to it, and had serveral chances, and each time we all knew he wouldnt score. Why he started i dont know, what does Futacs have to do to start?

And brininging on the equially inept Waghorn, i mean really. That shot Waghorn put over which could have equalised signalled the end of him for me. Hes shit, not good enough for us.

Knew we would miss Wood badly and we did.

Hate to say it but Posh deserved it. They kept having a good go and our defending at times was poor to say the least.

Poor tactics and selection cost us this, in what should have been a win after we dominated for as period after scoring.

Not happy at all

I'm just so frustrated. People always say we don't have a divine right to beat these teams, but they just go nowhere. Every season. Nothing teams that love to upset us, it seems thats why they're even in this bloody league. At least we have the pedigree to be up there.

I hate it when we lose, but going to try and look on the bright side. So far none of the teams around us have taken advantage of our slip up.

Now come on Brighton!

If we can end the day still in second I'll be more than happy considering...

How many more times is Waghorn gonna sky a shot from 6 yards out? Pathetic.

Give him another year or so and he will find the net again...oh no wait he will be sold by then

Waghorn and Vardy for a combined fee of about 4mill must give akinbiyi a run for his money in terms of worst value for money ever. I can only think of Matt Mills as an example of where we've spent so much money on such complete and utter dogshit.

But remember that thing we were talking about before the match about not slagging the players off...

Ssh, you'll ruin everyone's moment of being a bitter prima donna.

I hate the way Radio Leicester prejudge a game and say we'll get 3 points. Why don't they just stick to being a news station and report upon what happens in front of them on the pitch?

Well it's better to have a chance of losing second place then just being mid table like the last couple of seasons
