theessexfox Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Gutted, feels like a defeat. Could that have deflated us for future games? We could have started to kick on again if we'd have held on to it. Unlucky lads
bmt Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Gutting circumstances but a very good point. Shame because that would have made our position a hell of a lot healthier and made the title race a bit more interesting.
MikeyT Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Really thought we'd done it then. Absolute sucker punch. Gutted. Can't fault the lads though, they played well and went for it.
Grewks Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Why bring on 2 ****ing strikers when you are one up away at the top of the league? Whitbread should have came on instead of waghorn, did nothing and his stupid offside cost us the game.
leicesterisme Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Feels like a loss, it's a point we'd of definitely taken before the game though. Gutted.
MattyFromLE Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Desperately unlucky, as they say - when the chips are down. BUT. It sounded like a good performance, we battled, contained the league leaders. Beat Derby on Saturday and things will look better!
Magictv Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 I dunno, shit conceding last min but I think we can take heart from that. It's a decent point.
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Proud of them tonight, dug in and deserved better.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 0-0 Would have been a much better result Least we didnt lose but i think deep down most of us knew we wouldnt do it.
acooling08 Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Lets be positive here guys. Before the game we would have all taken a point. We played well, thoroughly deserved to win. We showed glimpses of our previous selfs, let's kick on now.
MC Prussian Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Two points dropped, very unlucky in the end. Can't blame Vardy and Waghorn for that last-minute equalizer, though. I blame Wellens. . Seriously, it's a point taken at the league leaders, who are in truly dysmal form right now (oh, just like us). It's going to be a really interesting last few games this season. We might actually play Cardiff in the playoffs... again.
Vacamion Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 You know when you get a kick in the nuts and there is an absence of feeling as you draw in your breath and you know, you just KNOW that in an instant, your neurons are going to get their act together and send a whole lot of searing, agonising, gut-wrenching pain from your nutsack to your cortex? When City conceded, I felt like that.
Unabomber Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Very sickening, but it is done with now and hopefully we can win on sat versus the other sheep shaggers.
cc_star Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 What a shitter Going swimmingly. Really limited Cardiff to hardly a sniff - Created the best chances. Nicked a goal, then brought on the grafters to hold the ball up in the opposing half better. Gutted about that, kick in the teeth. Hopefully the lads don't lose too much heart, because our performance level seemed much better and back up in the region where it needs to be.
CKB Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Is it a good point? well in recent terms of form yes i guess, but it should have been 3 and that's what makes it gutting
Blanesta Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 We were good until the last 2 minutes, not good enough though. Playing well doesn't get you promoted, points do!
Guest Bilo Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 More positives than negatives tonight, in spite of the sucker punch equaliser from the Redbirds. We went to the team with the best home record in the division and played them off the park for 90 minutes, and they scored with their one shot. No neutral has said they deserved anything other than defeat. I hope the team can take heart from tonight and use it on Saturday, as a good win will put us back on track for the remnants of a tough old run-in. Up the BLUE City!
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 I'll make my decision on how i feel about this game after the result against derby on saturday.
foxesfan1989 Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 So close to putting in a professional performance but turns out we have no metal. Amateurish to get nervous and concede so late.
kingfox Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 3 points lost there I think, chucking it away in the final minutes is always heart breaking. We are conceding too many late goals all of a sudden. Team might of played well, but it's still only a 1-1. Just seen the goal, Vardy getting absolutely slated, but what did he do so wrong, didn't stop the cross? By the way Mods, FoxesTalk is absolutely fooked.
Munshi Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Why isnt my foxestalk working? So close, so close, need to play like this at derby now.
Legend_in_blue Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Just seen it on SSN. Yet again NPs tactical ineptitude has cost us two points. Vardy on the wing to defend a lead? He's cocked it up before, the warning signs were there and when he should be tracking his man, he just stands, watches, and the ball is played in over his head. And that was that. We should have gone five at the back. Tactically clueless.
