Danno Posted 22 April 2013 Share Posted 22 April 2013 Bullshit. David de Gea is the number one keeper for the best side in the league. Look at him. A great goalkeeper. What does that prove??
broughtonblue Posted 22 April 2013 Share Posted 22 April 2013 Dont think kaspers passing style will suit swanseas passing style. One just lumps it whilst the other play it along the ground to feet!
Ashley Posted 22 April 2013 Share Posted 22 April 2013 A great goalkeeper. What does that prove?? He was referring to him being poor in the air, I tend to agree he was dire last season has started to work and get better this season.
Matt Posted 22 April 2013 Share Posted 22 April 2013 TBH he deserves better, at times this season he has been a one man team, he has won us so many points, while others have lost us so many, While I think he does need abit of anger management and he needs to calm down I can understand his frustrations. His kicking is abit dodgy...well alot dodgy, but thats about the only thing I can fault him on really. I wouldn't be surprised or could hardly blame him if he did leave. Cropwellfox Posted 22 April 2013 Share Posted 22 April 2013 I think it's inevitable that if we stay in championship we'll encourage offers for players with a year left on contract, especially those on big wages. Kaspar and Nuge prime candidates as cant see anybody wanting Konchesky or Danns given what they are likely to be earning vs the contribution they could make. Kitchandro Posted 22 April 2013 Share Posted 22 April 2013 He does have weaknesses; kicking, crosses, etc, but he's still one of the best and most consistent players we have. His shot stopping is world class. Would hope we would get a decent price for him, especially considering we've struggled to get good and consistent goalkeepers in recent years. But I think this a wake-up call to anyone who says we're not ready to go up or any of that rubbish. Regardless of whether you rate Schmeichel highly or not, you have to realise that promising players will eventually leave if we stay down here. 'We'll be stronger next season' isn't necessarily true, especially with FFP.

pazzerfox Posted 22 April 2013 Share Posted 22 April 2013 He's been 'Stowelled' When was the last time we had a goalie that improved the longer he was with us? Weale definitely improved but then tailed off in the Sven era.

Lambert09 Posted 22 April 2013 Share Posted 22 April 2013 I would be genuinely sad if it happens, great keeper, young, improving and a great character to boot. We would not be able to find a better keeper for years and years.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 22 April 2013 Share Posted 22 April 2013 No promotion this year and he will be gone, probably along with Wes Morgan, and perhaps others, and thus the rebuilding will have to start again! I can feel a distinctly chilly outlook for us, in my old bones.
acooling08 Posted 22 April 2013 Share Posted 22 April 2013 I may be being naive, but I get the sense that Kasper cares about the club and wouldn't want to leave just yet.

flowwolf Posted 23 April 2013 Share Posted 23 April 2013 Get rid asp . Sorry but I have not seen any improvement in his kicking since he has been here. I have lost count of the amount of time he gives the ball away and he certainly is NOT premiership standard.
