Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 Glad Norwich won, want them to stay up if we go up, good away game for me
Matt Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 They have to show every team a certain amount of times. They show Liverpool a lot, so they opted to pick a different game. Are we meant to have Swansea and Spurs games every super Sunday whilst the Europa league is on? They have no problem in showing a Norwich game and Villa game today and Villa v Norwich next week though - Which i'm gonna say right now is gonna be a boring game. (Now i've said it hopefully it won't be! )
Jimothy Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 They have no problem in showing a Norwich game and Villa game today and Villa v Norwich next week though - Which i'm gonna say right now is gonna be a boring game. (Now i've said it hopefully it won't be! ) You do seem to get teams picked with a flurry of games over a few weeks. My point was somebody said, why move the Newcastle match when the Swansea match was already scheduled today. So we're meant to have Spurs and Swansea on every Sunday whilst they are in the Europa? Sky have already shown Liverpool v Swansea this season, do we want the same games shown over and over? It's not like it's two top teams.
Danno Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 This and this, I know a few Villa fans and they are so up themselves it is beyond believe the enjoyment i'd have from being as smug as they have been, been a sarcy as they have been would be great. Can't believe Lambert has lasted so long. Tottenham have been shit and deserve to lose this. 1-0 Norwich. Still want Spurs to win though. They have the biggest bunch of ****** as a fanbase it's absolutely hilarious watching them do poorly. They turn on their players so quickly.
Bert Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 Villa won't go down. If we go up it's one of the best away games in the country.
Stadt Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 There's so many bad teams this year, there's pretty much two leagues within the league.
Vacamion Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 For me the most desperately panicked manager-switchers are going down. Fulham, Cardiff and WBA it is then.
Stadt Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 West Brom haven't won under Mel yet so I think they are almost certain for relegation.
Dan Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 I don't want West Brom to go. Nor do I want Fulham to go. Both gave great away day potential. Which is another reason I hope Cardiff go. I am sick of that place. I also thought Stoke was dire as an away and I've got no excitement about going back there. Hope them pair go. Sunderland & Palace have been dragged back into it. It's quite odd how similar their league campaigns have gone this year. Truly is shaping up to be the best relegation battle I've seen in England and the title race is great as well. This year's Premier League shits all over last year.
Mack Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 I don't like Cardiff but if they don't get another point and do get relegated (I think they will), it serves the owner right not the fans. Sacking Malky was ridiculous, especially after all he did for the club. I agree. That **** of an owner has totally ****ed up all the hard work that Mackay and his staff had done. They will go down along with WBA who also sacked a very decent Manager and replaced him with what looks like a clueless out of his depth Spanish coach who can barely speak English.
Uncle Albert Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 Liverpool weren't great today but another massive three points, especially with Spurs slipping up at Norwich! Jordan Henderson eh?! Best thing for Liverpool is today, we have now gone 6 points clear of 5th but only 4 points off the League leaders.. That is massive for us, such an improvement on last season and again shows how far Brendan Rodgers has taken us since his appointment. Love the man!

Are we meant to have Swansea and Spurs games every super Sunday whilst the Europa league is on? The Liverpool Swansea game wasn't on TV as this game was scheduled for a 3pm Saturday fixture, Swansea playing in the Europa League meant the game had to be moved to the Sunday, never was meant to be a televised game.

If you keep Suarez and sturridge in form and tighten up at the back there is a smidge of a chance, either way its been a good season for you lot. I like Liverpool and id love to see them challenging for titles again, especially at the expence of Man U.
Guest MattP Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 Read Fergusons book now and his opinions on Henderson not be able to achieve anything as he runs funny combined with Smalling, Clev and Welbeck being the greatest English youngsters he has had and it really does read like the ramblings of an old lunatic who had completely lost his marbles.

I don't know why they didn't try to keep Matty James and develop him, he'll be better than Cleverley.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 I don't know why they didn't try to keep Matty James and develop him, he'll be better than Cleverley. Too many injuries.
Corky Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 Too many injuries. Understandable, not complaining that he left though, certainly benefitted us and hopefully will for many years.
Guest MattP Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 I don't know why they didn't try to keep Matty James and develop him, he'll be better than Cleverley. Completely agree. Could turn out to be another iffy decision.

Think you're certainly in with a chance of the top 4. Title might be a bridge too far at the minute, but get back into the Champions League is the priority and with that, brings the attraction of getting the better £20million players. I hope you can finish well. I'd like to see you win the league, I do like Liverpool. Henderson's first goal was quality yesterday.
Leicesterpool Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 Would anyone be tempted to take Kevin Nolan to the world cup?! scored a few goals an experienced head in midfield. Arguably a possible good replacement for Gerrard for if Gerrard picks up an injury while on tour.
Corky Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 No, no, no. West Ham fans were fed up with him until a few games ago, he's not England quality and we need to look to the future.

Leicesterpool Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 No, no, no. West Ham fans were fed up with him until a few games ago, he's not England quality and we need to look to the future. But is there seriously anybody who can slot into the Gerrard role at the moment? When Gerrard doesn't play we certainly miss him!
StanSP Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 Nolan to the World Cup?If he gets chosen we might as well cancel our flights.
Corky Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 But is there seriously anybody who can slot into the Gerrard role at the moment? When Gerrard doesn't play we certainly miss him! Carrick. (I realise this is at odds with my "look to the future" comments, my thinking is that Carrick is more experienced at international level and, well, a much better player than Nolan).
