Leicesterpool Posted 26 February 2014 Posted 26 February 2014 Norwich still have their manager. Yeah but the fans were calling for him to go!
Uncle Albert Posted 26 February 2014 Posted 26 February 2014 Tight budget? I would accept that regarding Norwich if they hadn't spent £8million on Van Wolfswinkel.
Stadt Posted 26 February 2014 Posted 26 February 2014 Tight budget? I would accept that regarding Norwich if they hadn't spent £8million on Van Wolfswinkel.Spent a fair bit on Hooper and Fer too.
Corky Posted 26 February 2014 Posted 26 February 2014 Yeah but the fans were calling for him to go! The football they play is very dull, they've spent a lot of money and are making little progress. I think they have been over the top given their relatively little time spent at the top level but he's not had a tight budget compared to any other manager they've had.
Guest MattP Posted 26 February 2014 Posted 26 February 2014 Tight budget? I would accept that regarding Norwich if they hadn't spent £8million on Van Wolfswinkel. Not to mention a shitload on a striker who had been bagging goals against St Mirren and Kilmarnock for years.
Poznan34 Posted 27 February 2014 Posted 27 February 2014 Norwich have spent a lot of a club of their size, I was expecting them to push on to safe mid table this season. Clearly something isn't working with Hughton.
Leicesterpool Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26216284 See what i mean by Londoners stick together!
Fox92 Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26216284 See what i mean by Londoners stick together! It's Mourinho; I wouldn't take it seriously.
separator Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Pardew headbutts a player, gets sent off. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jE0Xj403RyU and here's Jeffs response to it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pb71aW3KG1o
AKCJ Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Handbags, nothing more. Can't believe whats being said about it. Nothing more than this;
Stadt Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Happens everyweek, complete overreaction just because it's a manager involved.
Super_horns Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Pardew loves a touchline bust up doesn't he! Yes - does have a short fuse. They were 3-1 up at the time!
kingfox Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Don't really want to say this, but I wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool win the league. Hard to look past Chelsea & Man City, but with Suarez and Sturridge, Liverpool can beat anybody. Also Hayley McQueen has fantastic tits
RobHawk Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Happens everyweek, complete overreaction just because it's a manager involved. It is a bit different when a manager gets involved though don't you think? I gotta be honest, I think Pardews got some anger issues, no reason for him to react like that today. It does happen on the pitch but that's part of playing a contact sport. Pardews just an aggressive idiot!
Unabomber Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Very sad about Arsenal, as it would be fantastic for them to win the league imo, shame.
Dan Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Liverpool can actually win this. Arsenal won't. They're just a marginally better version of what they've been for years - a very good footballing side, but one that continues to bottle it.
Guest ttfn Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Liverpool won't win the league. 4 points behind Chelsea at this stage of the season, and potentially as many as 5/6 behind City as well is just too much for a side with no title winning experience to make up. Chelsea might drop a few points. Man City might drop a few points. Liverpool might win all of their games between now and the end of the season. Two of these might even happen. But all 3? Not a chance.
Strokes Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Why are people overreacting about pardew? Savage calling for him to be sacked, what a cúnt.
Bert Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 It's the modern day thing to over react. It shouldn't have happened but has been blown out of proportion when being related to as a "headbutt".

I'm not saying they will win it but to dismiss them in this form would be foolish, they have been very impressive this season.
Dan Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 I must admit I slagged Pardew off earlier after hearing what he'd done, but some of the reaction after seeing it who are some people even trying to kid? I can understand clamping down on two footed lunges, but there was **** all in that and what the Dnipro player did midweek.
