The Liverpool Swansea game wasn't on TV as this game was scheduled for a 3pm Saturday fixture, Swansea playing in the Europa League meant the game had to be moved to the Sunday, never was meant to be a televised game.

Makes me piss how people moan, whilst not releasing this, the fact that sky have to put every team on a certain amount of times as well them not knowing what the game is going to turn out like lol

Their quota for example showing that most Championship sides are due on about 3 times with Leicester on at least 10

Yeah but if you take those 4 then you're done for wingers/attacking mids, no? What about the likes of Oxlade-Chamberlain, who's clearly a Hodgson favourite and went to 2012. Walcott fighting back to be fit would go if he is too? Welbeck?

Not naming players I necessarily want to go or think deserve to go, just ones I can't see being left out. I was gonna write a provisional squad but I ended up with about 35 names and couldn't work out who would realistically get the chop so left it haha.

We have a vast amount of centre mids and wide/attacking mids (not all necessarily any good mind you) but very few strikers. Rooney, Sturridge and then you're struggling for anyone with even a glimpse of quality really.

Gonna be very interesting and I'm actually looking forward to seeing the announcement for a change.

I'm not convinced a single one of those three is a winger. AOC has often been used there but he's actually looking better in the centre. I must admit I'd written Walcott off and I still wonder if he's worth a go up front.

Welbeck... if we're talking wingers I wouldn't have him ahead any of those named.

Our squad is horrifically unbalanced. The left back/right back comparison says it all really. Two absolutely quality left backs and that's not even including Luke Shaw who could well be number three, yet for right backs our best option is probably Glen Johnson...

As am I though. There are going to be a higher than usual number of gutted players sadly.

Would anyone be tempted to take Kevin Nolan to the world cup?! scored a few goals an experienced head in midfield. Arguably a possible good replacement for Gerrard for if Gerrard picks up an injury while on tour.

I have never heard anyone have as many awful opinions about football as you do lol

Has Ross Barkley done enough? Not from what I've seen to be honest. Maybe I've only seen him on bad days but he's never done anything particularly special.

Not saying I would take him but gareth Barry?

I think he's class. Knockaert at right wing back. Spurs to win the Premier League. Nolan for the World Cup lol

Midfielders to take

Gerrard

Barkley

Henderson

Lallana

Carrick

Definitely take Oxlade-Chamberlain, too, but I guess he'd count as one of the forwards?

I wouldn't take Barkley, if we qualify for the Euros, then he definitely will be in the squad, but right now I don't think he is ready. Gareth Barry has been excellent for Everton this season, and has made a massive difference, yet I wouldn't pick him either.

Right this minute, it has to be Gerrard, Lampard, Henderson & one of Wilshere or Carrick for me.

Lallana for me is a must as well, terrific player. Regarding other wingers, it's quite a tough one, Townsend hasn't been getting game time at Spurs and will have to work his way back in, Ashley Young is crap, Adam Johnson picked up a bit of form, but where Sunderland are I don't really think he is worthy of a place. While Walcott is definitely out, and he will be a massive miss.

Right now, Raheem Sterling, Adam Lallana & Oxlade-Chamberlain should be the one's on that plane. And as that's only three wingers maybe all the central midfielders I mentioned can be on that plane as well. If Cleverley get's chosen ahead of any of those players I've mentioned above, then Hodgson has a serious mental problem.

Is really Wilshere that good, i've seen the odd bit of skill in him in a Arsenal shirt, but i've never seen it in a England shirt. At the moment he's one of these typical players that can only do it for his club, and agree what you've said about Cleverley most overrated premier league player ever!

Raa raa raa I hate Chelsea raa raa raa

If it was the back end of last season I'd say fair enough. I seriously can't say he's stood out at all this season, certainly not more than some of our more exciting young guns who haven't proved to be a failure at major tournaments yet.

So not much then.

Was only joking Kitch. I'm guessing people would be considering his experience. He was never a fast player, but he's just too slow now in my opinion. Read the Chelsea forum a few weeks back and some of them weren't bothered he wasn't featuring.

Was a stupid decision to sack Clarke anyway.

I do think Albion will be relegated.

It was a panic decision a bit like Norwich where they forget what tight budget the manager is working with and expect him to create a miracle. I think the idea of going for someone who hasn't got any premier league experience as either a player or manager, plus can barely speak a word of english is only asking for trouble.

Norwich still have their manager.
