Happy Fox Posted 5 July 2013 Share Posted 5 July 2013 http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11712/8808831/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter A number of clubs have been alerted to the availability of Swansea striker Luke Moore after he was left out of their pre-season tour of Holland. The 27-year-old has a year left on his current deal but could be set to depart the Liberty Stadium after Michael Laudrup opted to leave him behind. Moore played 16 times for the Swans in the Premier League last season, scoring three times, and the decision by Laudrup is understood to have taken the player by surprise. Moore's agent Peter Morrison, of James Grant Group, confirmed to Sky Sports: "Luke is obviously disappointed not to have been included on the pre-season trip. "However, he has a very professional outlook so will be keeping his head down and working on his fitness to make sure he is in peak condition for the start of the season. "We have had enquiries from a number of clubs and, if an opportunity comes up that is right for both Luke and Swansea City, then we will look at it but he is contracted until the end of the season so he will remain focused and committed to the club until he is told otherwise." Stoke, Hull City, Crystal Palace, Leicester, Blackburn and Wigan are all thought to be interested in Moore.
RizLCFC Posted 5 July 2013 Share Posted 5 July 2013 He'd be an awesome signing for any side in this league.
Fox 4 Life Posted 5 July 2013 Share Posted 5 July 2013 Would be a good signing but this is just lazy journalism for me - Leicester sign alot players every summer so they must be interested. On top of that I think the only team we beat out of those to sign him is Blackburn!!
kingfox Posted 5 July 2013 Share Posted 5 July 2013 Can you remember when we had his brother Stefan on loan. My god he was shit, he currently plays for Brackley Town.

cc_star Posted 5 July 2013 Share Posted 5 July 2013 Luke Moore? We should sign all the Moore's, can we get a whole team of them. Can't see a striker coming in unless Waggy or Schlupp goes
allen10 Posted 5 July 2013 Share Posted 5 July 2013 Even with Beckford going and assuming Schlupp is a striker, we're still too top heavy. Can't see us moving for another striker unless a couple go out between Vardy, Futacs and Waghorn.
Dan LCFC Posted 5 July 2013 Share Posted 5 July 2013 I'd take him. He'd be a very decent option to have.

cc_star Posted 5 July 2013 Share Posted 5 July 2013 Said he wants to leave Swansea, can't be expensive or on exesive wages, what do we think? Already a thread elsewhere, but not sure people grasp just how much wages we need to get off the books to bring even one player in, and a forward would be way down the list anyway behind CB, LB, and across the middle too. Only way a forward would be in would be if Waghorn or Schlupp were to leave.

RowlattsFox Posted 5 July 2013 Share Posted 5 July 2013 He's been part of promotion squads but I've never actually seem him do anything. Without researching I think it's goal record is poor unless he goes unnoticed.

Foxy Mofo Posted 8 July 2013 Share Posted 8 July 2013 He plays for Leamington. Saw Steffan play twice this season and he genuinely didn't look up to southern league standard.

Fox42 Posted 8 July 2013 Share Posted 8 July 2013 We need three more players at least before talking about strikers. If anything, he's the sort of player I wouldn't mind getting. It'll be stupid to bring in a striker who's better than Wood and Nugent. We need a supersub striker type player, if any kind of attacker bar wingers. Bryn Posted 8 July 2013 Share Posted 8 July 2013 He did a lot of good things for Swansea last season. I would take him, we could use a pacy option, but I think we have higher priorities.

Freeman's Wharfer Posted 8 July 2013 Share Posted 8 July 2013 Hmm... news article complete with direct quote from the player's agent which ends with linking him to four or five decent clubs who would all offer a decent wage?! I wonder how this one came about...
