Potential January signings

One or two...

Britt Assombalonga - Posh - getting better and still young enough to get even better will sit well with Vardy

Callum Wilson - Coventry - looks hungry for goals

Lewis Grabban - Bournemouth - a team never going to be contenders (might he know it?) looks more dangerous than anyone else in the Championship just let down by the squad around him

All players out of contract will walk ready for our new manager.

Hopefully Ebanks Blake signs this week and then in January Connor Wickham on a permanent which would mean spending £3m? and Wilfried Zaha on loan.  we'd then have quality upfront because quite frankly David Nugents 4 goals in 30 from open play is the kind of figure Marlon Harewood got at Barnsley.  It isn't good enough and for all the hard Work Jamie Vardy puts in he isn't prolific enough.  He's more of an impact player off the bench just like Dyer is.  We'd then have Zaha and Knockeart out wide with the option of dyer coming on and i'd convert de laet into a right winger.  Imagine dyer and de laet coming on off the bench.  Also the bite and work rate of Vardy against a tiring defence would create all sorts of openings.  Its not rocket science!

I don't think you quite understand our predicament. Firstly, Man U would loan us Zaha when he can get the same number of games at somewhere like Newcastle, Villa or Fulham? No, I think not. Secondly, 3 million is money we don't really have, unless the owners spend big in January, which is fairly unlikely. Plus 3 million? Didn't they pay over 10 for him (was it ONeill or Keane?) It would cost us at least 6. Thirdly, converting Ritchie into a right winger would be bizarre because our defence looked more (only slightly) sturdy than before because hes an actual fullback. Would take time too. And to leave Dyer on the bench, when he's been our main attacking threat (imo) this year. People always say when DD is playing bad the team does (which is true) but if ) Dyer is having a good game we look 10x better. Its not rocket science no, but NP has a bloody hard job.

ok well another mediocre January with one signing and then a parade around the pitch last game of the season wondering where another 9 months have been wasted.  Got to go for it now.  The brutal truth is our strike force is crap and we only have two wingers.

Neil Warnock in.

Obviously this is a joke, but if that twat was ever employed by our club, I would boycott till that thing was gone, a has been, and I don't think my bad neck would handle all that looking up.😃

I'd look to League One/Two for a quality young winger with something to prove. I fail to believe there are none.

All three are decent shouts. I was thinking Assombalonga last night but Posh would go and ask for £4mil or something ridiculous. Wilson's realistic.

Bakary sako at wolves. Need another winger who will strengthen for second half of this season and also if we make it up this year. Good goals and assists ratio in A struggling wolves side last year and doing well in league 1. They were sniffing around for Waghorn in the summer so part exchange + a smallish fee. Jacket may take that. Better move for waghorn than millwall anyway as they may be passing wolves in the opposite direction anyway. I'd take Ebanks-Blake or Guidetti in heartbeat as well.
