Say we did this for someone like Marvin Sordell (for example). Offer danns gally ssl whitbread, might as well with them being out of contract! Whether they would agree terms or whether Bolton would accept would be fairly unlikely. But, if you don't ask you don't get!

I just think it will be loans or free agents on deals to the end of the season. £120m should be enough of an incentive to take a bit of risk (half a season of wages for a couple of players). SEB, Pennant or Guidetti sound like decent shouts. It is pretty clear that we are waiting to see what league we are in before sorting out all the contracts. With FFP coming in there will be a lot of championship players who will have to accept lower money and clubs opting for smaller squads - I think player power is a tad over-rated at this level. Personally I'd offer some sort of league dependent contract for Morgan and Dyer. Kasper has made it pretty clear that he'll only sign if we are in the Prem so that can wait. The rest meh.

dog_4 Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 we have alot of strikers that aren't good enough so Ebanks Blake and Conner Wickham and dyer and knockeart have no competition so Cameron Stewart who is free to talk to clubs in January with is contract coming up in the summer there will be none of the Hull weren't sell to Leicester shit because they weren't have a choice. He's impressed at Charlton and can play either winger.

We're fine for defenders atm, bar a left back replacement for Konch possibly. Most teams would love was wes liam as their first 3 centre backs. recently looked a tad shakey but the defence has been doing what it needs to be doing -making sure we concede less than the other team, which has happened for the majority of the season.

Aus Fox Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Nows about the tight time to decide if we stick or twist, if we can get a quality goal scorer in, I think we go up might have to spend a few quid to get one. The game against Burnley/Leeds/Forest proved to me we are better than a lot of the teams around us, if we take our chances. I still think Nugent is more than capable at this level but Vardy GTF and Schluup while bringing other things to the game haven't got the finishing quality required for a top 2 side. Would love Ings or Rhodes I think they are all we need at the minute to get up.

Realistic as well. it is the scottish prem, with the exception of celtic, it is low league 1/high league 2 standard. If were going to get someone of that ilk, i'd much rather it was nakhi wells. Personally, i'd like to see becchio or maynard on loan from norwich or cardiff.
