Sky stating deal almost done and for a fee of 40K. I'm assuming there must be some performance related add onns?

Forty ? Wow that's cheap. Didn't some put a pic up at the start of this thread that showed he only had one leg ?

Got to agree with Kingfox on this one I think. Some of the stuff being spouted, especially on twitter, about this guy is just plain ridiculous. People saying he's the "missing link", "amazing signing", "anything else after him is a bonus".

People are judging him on 2 things - a 7 minute Youtube Video (where I actually think he didn't look that good) and the fact that we bought a similar player from a similar club who has been relatively successful and become very popular with the fans.

I think its pretty sensible to say that none of us know enough to actually judge this bloke. A few shit games and people will be calling for his head, despite heralding him as a messiah now.

I saw that. Given that figure of half a million were being bandied around, it's probably just a typo. I'm guessing they meant £400k instead.

For anyone who's interested a stat site I've just visited suggests that in terms of goals and assists Knockaert's record is the stronger of the two (based on their time in Ligue 2). Not that I think you can read anything into that, just figured I'd post it because some might.

Mahrez having a tour of the Kingpower now. He's just tweeted 'Le stade est impressionnant!' = The stadium is awesome!
That might be the case, but part of me still yearns for Filbert Steet! <- This bit is me, not him obviously!

He should have said hello to birch and the sky sports news team as they were just live they asked birch about KP and he just gave a smile nothing about him

No matter where the players are coming from the club make sure the drivers of the car come down Raw Dykes road so the first thing they see is the club shop. Le Harve have got a beauty of a stadium to look at.

Leicester City are close to completing a deal to sign Le Havre winger Riyad Mahrez, reports BBC Radio Leicester.

Reports in France have claimed the 22-year-old could sign three-and-a-half-year deal at the King Power Stadium.

Nabil Djellit, who works for France Football magazine, told BBC Radio Leicester the deal could be done "perhaps by Wednesday".

He added: "The deal is OK between Riyad and Leicester, but the deal is not yet OK between Le Havre and Leicester."

Anyone know anything about him? Anyone rekon he will play the same sort of style/role as Anthony Knockaert?

I trust Pearson and Walsh's judgement on him and really hope he can add something different and add towards our push to the premier league.

Anyone have any news on the Kevin Phillips situation????

He's easily impressed.

EDIT: oh he didn't say that. That makes more sense then.

If I was a Le Harve fan and posted on forums then I'd patent the username: Le Harvey Oswald

You've got half an idea, pal, you just have it backwards.

What you need to do is sign up to a Havre forum AS Le Havre Oswald and grill them for details in amusing French.
