theessexfox Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 I know he have Millwall before this, but the main thing I'm wondering at this stage is how seriously we're taking this? We've had a lot of fixtures in a short space of time, do we approach this as an unnecessary sideshow and rest players for vital league matches, such as Derby, or do we put a full strength side out?
Voll Blau Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Success breeds success - in any competition. Let's make a fist of this. We'll sing you assembly, when we get to Wembley...
Munshi Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Kasper RDL Was Miquel Konch Knockaert King Drinkwater Dyer Vardy Waghorn/GTF
LCFC FOX Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Kasper Moore Morgan Miquel Koncheskey Knockaert King Hammond Schlupp Vardy Waghorn
foxfanazer Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 I think any side we put out has a fighting chance so maybe rest a few key players. Drinkwater, Dyer, James etc
Dr The Singh Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Don't want this match to be a distraction!!! Hopefully we can win unscathed, resting a few players maybe sensible!!
KFS Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 You can tell that we're enjoying it at Leicester at the moment
Tielemans63 Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 I'd put money on NP putting an under-strength side out. I'm not a fan of putting out a reserve side as I love the FA Cup but I'm prepared to make an exception this year as we need our main men fit.
JmorsonLCFC Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 dont belive in all this 'we need to concentrate on the league' a good cup run is always good for morale, these players are paid that much so they can handle a few games in a week
Aus Fox Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Stoke will almost certainly rest players the game is between two tough premier league games against Everton and Liverpool. Premier League survival will be number one priority and the closeness of the league means they can't afford to lose any ground. I think we will rest one or two but put out a reasonable side, the other side of resting players is others get match fit, if injuries do pop up. I would go Kasper Moore Wasyl Miquel Konch Knocky Hammond King Vardy Nugent Waghorn Attach them and let Drinky, Morgan, Dyer, James have a little rest.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 dont belive in all this 'we need to concentrate on the league' a good cup run is always good for morale, these players are paid that much so they can handle a few games in a week Since when did a person's wage make them oblivious to fatigue?.
Devonfox1884 Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Kasper Moore (st.ledger if fit) Morgan Was Miquel Knocky (Mahrez if he signs) James (Hammond if he's too tired) King Dyer Vardy Nuge
Super_horns Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 They are bound to get a penalty against you or something having complained to the FA about not getting fair treatment. Think you'll get a draw.
foxfanazer Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 They are bound to get a penalty against you or something having complained to the FA about not getting fair treatment. Think you'll get a draw. That'd be the worst result imo
lgfualol Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 I think he'll play: Kasper Was Morgan Miquel Konch Knocky King James Dyer Nugent Vardy And then subs. Logan, schlupp, Moore, Cain, Hammond, GTF, Waghorn
harpendenfox Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Give as many of the bench players as possible a full game. Was, King, Miquel, Hammond, Waggy, Schlupp and GTF. Play an aggressive attacking game in a bid to win it outright, and if we lose, so be it.
Simonb Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Id hope theyd change as many ss poss but I think pearson wont want to adjust too much shame wood still out would have been an ideal game to come back to kasper wasyl morgan miguel schlupp king hammond james hopper gtf waggy
C-man Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Anyone suggesting we play the reserves needs to cast their mind back to Huddersfield last season. Continue the momentum with 2/3 changes max. I'd rest Drinkwater, Dyer and Nugent.
????? Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 900 tickets left. Kasper Wasyl Moore Morgan Schlupp Hammond King Waggy Danns Knocky GTF 4-2-3-1 Think this will draw and go too a replay.
AndWhat? Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 PUB! Copied from Football Ground Guide. If arriving by train then the Terrace Bar on Leek Road has been designated as an official away fans pub. The pub which is only five minutes walk from the railway station (turn right out of the station entrance, left at the crossroads and the pub is down on the left) also shows Sky Sports and offers food too. The shuttle bus to the ground (return cost £3 adults) that runs from near the station, also stops at the pub and returns after the game. That's me sorted then!
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Where as I love cup football, stoke should beat us and indoing so do us a favour.
Cincinnati Fox Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 @OfficialFOXES: #lcfcawaytix 3,291 sold for Stoke City (04/01/14, 3.00pm K.O.), 909 still available.
surrifox Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Anyone suggesting we play the reserves needs to cast their mind back to Huddersfield last season. Continue the momentum with 2/3 changes max. I'd rest Drinkwater, Dyer and Nugent. correct - whatever the reason, tampering with the side at this time last year had a bad effect on the subsequent results it may just have been a coincidence but it cost us
Guest Col city fan Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 With all the stuff in the league Id completely forgotten about the Stoke game. Nasty little fixture this one. Stoke arent a good Prem side but they'll probably grind us down and big Crouch will sneak a winner.
