Corky Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 Stringer, give us a tweet, Stringer, Stringer, give us a tweet
Lesta Legend Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25657635 Harry, Pearson definitely implies progress here - but I'd agree contracts now being signed is possibly bollocks, pure conjecture.
Fox92 Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 Pearson confirmed progress earlier but two contracts already? It's not FM.
Harry - LCFC Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25657635 Harry, Pearson definitely implies progress here - but I'd agree contracts now being signed is possibly bollocks, pure conjecture. Quotations from the manager in that article "I am hopeful that we can get some of the situation resolved." "It is a balancing act for us in terms of the financial side and commitments - but also we want to sustain what is a very positive first half of the season," "I understand the questions and concerns about it [contract situation], but we have to get the priorities right. And our priority is to try to win football matches and do it in the knowledge that things will be done in the correct manner." Only the first could vaguely be interpreted as progress being made. But even then not really, he just says he's hopeful. The title is misleading.
JasonBourne1986 Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 Jason Bourne retweeted it. Probably bullshit. Nope - just favourited for later reference!
Happy Fox Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 Nope - just favourited for later reference! Alright fair doos Do you mind asking NP when you next see him, about our reported interest in Janko? Cheers! keep up the good work.
Soar Fox Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 No chance Kasper will sign a contract with us before the end of the season. Even if we do go up I doubt he'd even sign one then.
Haydos Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 Rumours on twitter are wes & kasper have agreed new contract deals. Hope this is correct. https://twitter.com/futboldosage/status/420969809572929536
Babylon Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 Source: Ryan Willis @FutbolDosage enough said. Ryan... hmmm. Wasn't the last4lcfc bloke called Ryan, and he used to pimp his own twitter accounts on here. **5 minutes of searching later** @Now_Football is very good with LCFC news give him a follow, he' also a Leicester fan. @MrFootballNews <- He had it right the whole time.. Found a very good tweeter, been right on most deals, also a leicester fan, www.twitter.com/Transfer_Talk Coincidence... I think not.
Babylon Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 Tanner says, when written media asked NP is contract talks had started, he said he didn't know.
MC Prussian Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 It just gets more embarrassing for BBC Radio Leicester (including Stringer). Now it appears as if they're that desperate that they're making up stories just to get one. Pathetic.
lgfualol Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 It may still be the excitement from the game last night but SIGN THEM ALL UP
Strokes Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 It may still be the excitement from the game last night but SIGN THEM ALL UP If it aint broke........
davieG Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 It is a busy time for City as the club has opened talks with several of the existing squad about extending their contracts. The Mercury understands those talks include goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, captain Wes Morgan and winger Lloyd Dyer. 80footgiraffe Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 Fantastic news, so glad Dyer is getting an extension. No mention of Nuge though....
Soar Fox Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 I'd be surprised if Kasper signed a new contract with us. Would love it if he did though.
LCCFox96 Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 With two January additions now in and us being unlikely to add anyone else unless injury forces us too (even then it would probably be a loan at a later date) I think good January business would be getting some of the key players tied down on new deals. Especially the players other teams are sniffing around at. Fantastic news, so glad Dyer is getting an extension. No mention of Nuge though....Think he needs a few more performances like Friday night then talks will start. I do think he will get a new deal eventually.
Dan Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 Dyer deserves one promotion or not. He's totally won me over this season and I think he's an asset. Vital to the way we play the game.

Dyer deserves one promotion or not. He's totally won me over this season and I think he's an asset. Vital to the way we play the game. Agreed. His pace makes him a danger to any defence in any division. I haven't seen a full back all season who can live with his speed.
cityfanlee23 Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 Agreed. His pace makes him a danger to any defence in any division. I haven't seen a full back all season who can live with his speed. And surprisingly this season, his strength, I know he's always been a battler, but this season with all the size he's been putting on he's really using it well! Not many knock him off the ball
