ealingfox Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 Hi, I had £20 on city to get 100pts this season - 66/1 = £1320....Come on the foxes ! Great shout.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 100 or more Fair play. When did you do this? Who with?
Ricey Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 I think 88 will be enough, but 90 to be sure. Derby's run-in looks a lot easier than the rest, but as long as we win our home games (most of which are against teams towards the bottom) we won't have to worry about anyone else.
filbertboy Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 Fair play. When did you do this? Who with? Ladbrookes about a month ago.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 And itll be decided on a set of fixtures where we're not playing. In town for the FT scores definitely
southfox66 Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 87 is highest point total for running up side, so 13 points all we need for automatic promotion but id assume we going for record points.
Corky Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 6 wins should do it, that would require Derby to win 11 out of 13 which is some ask. Those wins would give us 92 points and we are more than capable of getting draws at Burnley and Wigan. We can make a serious dent in the next four matches, four wins could leave us almost pressure-free for Burnley.

Yes but 87 points would have got us promotion in the past but maybe not this year. Take one game at a time especially the next 4 matches and we might have more idea, Saturday, Burnley away to Blackburn, it's a Local derby and Burnley could get a backlash from Blackburn's thrashing last weekend, Derby at home to Millwall if Millwall don't pull their finger out very soon they will be relegated, they only lost 1-0 to a fairly good Brighton last weekend maybe harder than Derby think. Qpr away to Brum can see at least a draw from that. If only one of those results go our way it makes it a little easier. Saturday is a good day, watch the scores come in no pressure on us and roll on Tuesday.
Rincewind Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Contenders next five games before we play Burnley.. included Forest for the laugh factor. Looked up all the games but five will do for now as it could be decided then. Burnley Blackburn A Birmingham A Leeds H Charlton H Doncaster H Derby Millwall H Bolton H Reading A Forest H Ipswich A QPR Birmingham A Brighton A Yeovil H Sheff W A Middle'boro A Forest Barnsley A Middle'boro A Birmingham H Derby A Charlton H First two away for Burnley QPR and Forest but Derby could make ground with the first two at home. I have the remaing fixtures in a notebook so can add a game each week until the job is done.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 I just want this over with so much. The suspense, the 'will we/won't we?'and the how many more points/which game could we confirm promotion is absolutely killing me. I can't enjoy games at the moment unless we go two goals ahead
LanguedocFox Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 I just want this over with so much. The suspense, the 'will we/won't we?'and the how many more points/which game could we confirm promotion is absolutely killing me. I can't enjoy games at the moment unless we go two goals ahead I know what you mean: the last live match I saw was at Brighton at the beginning of December (last one before this unbeaten run started) and we were dreadful. I'm waiting for another one like that, pessimistic sod that I am. On the other hand, listening to matches like Ipswich and Charlton is so good, because from about half an hour in, I can just relax, pour a glass of red wine and enjoy being a City fan!

It's going to make for an interesting Saturday lunchtime if we and they get 15 points each from the next give games.
ramadaone Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 If us and Derby win every remaining game this season it'll be the 42nd game of the season which is Reading away. Has this changed after the sheep lost today ?
Happy Fox Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Has this changed after the sheep lost today ? The sheepshaggers if they win their remaining games will finish on 97 points. We need therefore 98 points worst case scenario so 8 more wins from 13 games.
Guest ttfn Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 The sheepshaggers if they win their remaining games will finish on 97 points. We need therefore 98 points worst case scenario so 8 more wins from 13 games. What about QPR...?
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 The sheepshaggers if they win their remaining games will finish on 97 points. We need therefore 98 points worst case scenario so 8 more wins from 13 games. So realistically then, 90 points will about do it really for us
ThorpeAstleyFox Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 After today's results 24 more points will guarantee promotion - I love being 3 points closer to promotion without kicking a ball

mr whippy Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 So it's now the Brighton home game Just like in April 2003 when we beat Brighton to secure promotion

Bluetintedspecs Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Thought for a while 90 will be enough and still do! COYB
