cityfanlee23 Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 Quite. Are you just purposely agreeing with everyone that had a problem with what I said? You've had your moment, calm down.
Leicester Lass Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 Are you just purposely agreeing with everyone that had a problem with what I said? You've had your moment, calm down. I think people were just generally saying that from the title of the threads it's pretty obvious what the content is going to be, if you're not going to like it, you don't need to read it. Simple as that really.
Steven Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 Are you just purposely agreeing with everyone that had a problem with what I said? You've had your moment, calm down. I am so calm I am becalmed. I just think that Mark 'expert' Lawrenson has countered your negativity and posting best.
cityfanlee23 Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 I am so calm I am becalmed. I just think that Mark 'expert' Lawrenson has countered your negativity and posting best. Ok... So you have your opinion, I have mine... I am replying to people comments directed at ME... You seem to just be joining in with everyone posting to me when nobody is actually commenting to you? You've had your say....
davieG Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 Quite. Quite. Saying 'Quite' s on every other post in the thread, just plucking a word from the sky and saying I agree who cares.. Just post more than one word... 7 pages of this is rediculous by FT standards
davieG Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 It's what football fans do, many like to supplement the match experience by speculating on all sorts of associated parts of the game. they do it not just for their own team but are forever speculating on the results of many other teams' games and league positions. If they get pleasure from it what's the problem most topics on the subject are clearly labelled and are easy to avoid. I am so calm I am becalmed. I just think that Mark 'expert' Lawrenson has countered your negativity and posting best. What about my reply I posted it before the'expert'
Steven Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 What about my reply I posted it before the'expert' I thought just two "Quite"s would be enough. You know I love you.
WhispyWizard Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 9 wins from the last 14 matches would make it virtually impossible for two teams to overtake us! I can see that Burnley and Derby could both get 90/92. This could be the highest combined total for the two automatically promoted teams ever. I would like to get the Title at home to QPR! I already feel sorry for the team that finishes 3rd this season, easily going to have more than Hulls total!
paulski Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 save your calculators football365.com has loads of stats. http://stats.football365.co.uk/dom/ENG/D1/runin.html
Leicester_Loyal Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 I'm saying 26 more is all we need! We won't need 97 points for promotion, the actual figure will be lower.
deanolegend1989 Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 Judging by stats, id say anything less than 86 is a total that often isnt enough. Id say the 86 to 87 cut off is the big difference 87 majority of the time is good enough..86 its more of a 60/40 shot 88 is the mark where only 2 seasons in history would it not make it.. 89+ only 1 freak 97/98 season where Sunderland had 90 and finished 3rd(Boro 91 2nd Forest 94 first). Chance of promotion judging by history so far: 91+ points - 21/21. 89+ points - 20/21. 88 points - 19/21. 87 points - 17/21. 86 points - 12/21. 85 or below - less than a coin toss. I think this year being a slightly stronger form from the top lot as far Id say its more than likely going to be 88+ needed..90 would be a good shout.
MajorDanby Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 Grrrrr. I came on this thread to specifically read about points predictions and the last page has been completely ruined by people moaning about it and saying "quite" all the time. //shakes fist in an angry old man eske way
TheSharpeEnd Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Here's my take on it. This season average simply won't be enough. http://bit.ly/NbRBrf
fuchsntf Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Ive just won some pennies on the lotto so, my prediction will be right on the button... Tally ..102 points. We will lose 1 ,Draw 4 and win the rest. Dont argue with a lotto winner..ok !!
GH1 Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 It's probably already been said somewhere on here, but in the Sunday times last week it said we needed 5 more wins so 86pts. I think 88 does it
Fox92 Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 So, 13 points clear of third!! Fantastic!! 10.3 wins, providing Burnley win every game, will see us be Champions (let alone get promoted). Still takes me to the QPR game.
STUHILL Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 I think this is my favourite ever thread! Also, how many times do people look at the table a day? I am averaging about 5 times
weller54 Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Four wins will be enough!!!... We're there!!.. No doubt after today's results!!!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 The table is sexy. My girlfriend won't be pleased, that is my material tonight...
foxfanazer Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Great set of results for us this weekend. Happy for Burnley to keep beating these teams in playoff spots
Trav Le Bleu Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 It would take a phenomenal effort on Derby's part to reach 88 points, so five wins should do it, but we'll do it easier than that.
