Jack Hobbs - Gone to Forest

Recommended Posts

Brilliant, with James and Knockaert putting them delicious balls into the box, Hobbs will no doubt score a few.

IF.

You say that. But he never really scored that many for us (or for any of his other teams for that matter).

It's certainly an area of his game he could improve on. I always felt he was almost just making up the numbers when he went up for corners and free kicks here whereas Morrison was a much greater threat.

I just love the bit when they finally give up:

"Haven't you had enough for today lad.

We don't give a shit.

Sod off to your own forum." lol

Also reading the start of their 100 page thread and comparing their opinions at the end is such a treat. :P

Haha I enjoyed that bit too... Especially when then were banging on about Leicester overspending and being in trouble if no promotion blah blah blah... They don't like being told facts

If we get him, Moore will go to Fulham methinks. It's a good replacement in a situation that it is not ideal and we'll make money. Sad but meh.

Football forums are so silly and hilarious.

Except Burnley's.

Yeah, I've read it too!! Can you imagine what its like in there if they were mid table? FFS

Yes it does though. You have three starters, one on the bench, Liam has done fook all wrong this season, and he comes back from an unfortunate injury to find someone else in his place, would be bloody unfair. Some saying it won't be, but if people had a brain, and looked at the bigger picture, then you'll see how unfair it would be.

You say Hobbs would be great cover for Moore, yet again Hobbs is better than sitting on the bench, he would be wasted on the bench, when he could be starting for someone like Forest week in week out.

The last time we had many options in a position was in midfield under Sven, and people moaned.

How is that unfair? Babs has already pointed out that Moore is out for three weeks MINIMUM. In reality, we're probably looking at four to six weeks. We can't risk to let our defense getting weakened with him out injured for that long. Potentially, that's up to four, five if not more league games.

Players who're coming back from injury need to recuperate accordingly, you can't just throw them back into the mix like that.

Defense is where we need to improve most for the rest of the season and that's why a player like Hobbs would fit right in.

Not content with trying to tell idiots how it is on FT, Babs is extending his crusade to the rest of the Midlands! :D

Doing what I can for East Midlands relations.

Just read somewhere the fee is 650k? If this is the case and we do end up flogging waghorn to blackburn/some other mugs for 450k then Hobbs will only cost us 200k in transfer fees. Probably would have similar wages, with Hobbs earning a bit more so id be chuffed with one more in (Hobbs) and one more out (Waghorn)

We have a sell on % from when we sold Hobbs to Hull so our bid will be less than any other clubs. Reading were believed to have bid £650k so ours will be less.

Derby like to give us six points a season for that very reason.

I think they have deleted half my posts about their owner... Paranoid!!! Right, time to put a forest badge in my twitter avatar and go tell fawaz he's a crook and that he should hang his head in shame and return to India ( yes I know, but it's part of the ignorant forest fan act).

I've bitten my tongue for a while, but I'm just going to post this.

I'm delighted to read that you're debt-free and possessing your own ground.

Now you're on such a financially stable platform, you now need to to the right thing:

You need to repay EVERY individual, organisation group and company that you defrauded when you oh-so-conveniently wiped your debts off a few years ago.

Even the Football League, who are notoriously stagnant recognised what an outrageous act of cheating this was, and introduced a (lame) penalty of 10 points to try & deter future cheating.

"**** you and everyone else, **** your businesses and charities, we're going to continue to pay for a team we KNOWINGLY assembled whilst KNOWINGLY being unable to afford it, and then when the bills arrive we'll just **** them off."

We sold our assets to avoid such a scenario.
You wiped out innocent suppliers and companies, individuals and charities.
We were relegated.

Please, please: don't ever come on a forum near me and bleat about how wonderful your finances are.

All right.

- What a bitch. Must be that time of the month.
