KIRBYFOX93 Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Im afraid he is simply not good enough. Was 1/10 and the 1 was for turning up
Fox92 Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 I've never been his biggest fan, but that's a bit harsh considering the season he's had.
AKCJ Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 He was very poor today, but not good enough? Do one you ****.
Dr The Singh Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 If todays anything to go by, most of the team were 1/10, is the whole team not good enough?
KFS Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 They doubled up on himMost teams are doing that now, Bournemouth certainly did. Might explain why we're breaking through midfield more.
ashfosse Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 teams are starting to actively plan against him now.
Webbo Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 He got a couple of good crosses in, wasn't the worse player out there today.
lgfualol Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 I dont know how we can combat the doubling on Dyer now. I'd love to bring him on in the second half, with their defenders being too tired to double up properly. But he doesn't deserve to get dropped because he's been awesome this season. Fairly ineffective today though
weller54 Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Dyer needs dropping to the bench!!.... Give Mahrez a run!!
Swarles Barkley Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 he was bad TODAY. has been phenomenal all season. I say give him a couple games rest, looked a bit tired today but by far one of our best performers all season and we would not be where we are without him
bovril Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 I'm not his biggest fan but, as Webbo says, he was far from the worst player and created a couple of chances.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Knew this would happen, another poor game but Jesus Christ the man has been fantastic for us overall this season.
Bettsj2 Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Mahrez didnt exactly do enough to force his way in. Whilst Dyer's form has dropped, he should start against Forest. They certainly wont sit as deep as Watford so there'll be plenty of room for Lloyd running in behind.

Every player struggled to break them down as a team, and it took something extremely special to get back in to it.
ousefox Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Jesus Christ, some people really don't have a clue.
Hollism Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Knockheart tore the league apart for the first half of last season, by the time it got round to everyone playing him for the second time, any team that stuck to the plan of not giving him any space stopped us from winning. Nige took far too long to see this was going on, hence THAT run lasted 18(?) games. The same thing has happened with Dyer now. The league is realising how dangerous it is to let him have the ball and a few yards ahead of him. That said, only an idiot would think that the history will repeat itself this year. Nige has already shown he knows how to adapt, and I'll bet my life he's spent hours analysing where it went wrong last year, and how to avoid it this season. Dyer definitely doesn't warrant being dropped on form, performances or ability, but if the management team think it would cost us to play into the defensive plans of our opposition, then so be it. A bit of a strange post from me I know, but if my point was missed: OP can fvck off.
TJB-fox Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Think away games may suit dyer more towards the end of season, due to the fact teams will have to come out and get at us.
Monsell1976 Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 He's had a great season, but has gone off the boil the last 3 games for me, is the contract situation in his head?

Not having a pop at Mahrez, just pointing out that dropping Dyer for him at the present time isnt justified.
