Bert Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 A great game of football. We didn't play at our best but in my opinion Forest are a really good side. First half they didn't let us play, and Andy Reid ran the game. Paterson looks very good too. Defensively Forest were a shambles, they just couldn't handle Vardy's pace and endeavour. Nugent and Vardy's movement was also great. Second half we were much better- Drinkwater was excellent, Nugent could quite easily have had two goals. It was end to end. I also thought Vardy was denied a stonewall penalty by the ref. Forest's main threat was Reid's balls into our box. I was glad when he was subbed off. Konchesky is a prat. He had a tussle with Mackie about five minutes before the red card. He lost his head. He really let us down All in all a brilliant point. Mahrez looked really good again. Great write up. Pretty much spot on.
Kitchandro Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 BTW please never let us have Bourne again radio Leicester. That was a pitiful commentating performance.
Oxfordfox83 Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Just watched the two managers' interviews. So much happier with NP, Billy's such a whiny little manhelmet.
kingfox Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Billy said Wes should of been sent off & our penalty should of been re taken.
Fox92 Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Kasper has as much blame as Wes. He must have called for it to let Wes be in two minds, as an experienced defender I have no doubt he would have launched it out of play without a call. I'm glad we got a point, I would have taken a point prior and it's no less than we deserved. We showed character and determination, again. Drinkwater and Vardy were brilliant, Vardy never gave up again and he ended up at left full back. Mahrez did well for our penalty. Quick throw in, Drinky obviously brought it.
C-man Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Good point all things considered. Absolute scenes when Mahrez bundles in. Thought we were much the better team. Billy's bus parking ultimately cost them, who'd have thunk it? Disappointed with the atmosphere though. Surrounded by mutes for the most part - made it incredibly difficult to get chants going.
CosbehFox Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 The reactions of Forest fans says a lot. Deluded, bitter. Common lines are their goals were gifts, another lucky penalty etc etc. Its boring. You see why we dislike them. Bitter, bitter, bitter. They will always be better in their eyes. The opposition will always be lucky. If they want some facts, they bottled it tonight when they went super cautious.
sdb Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Both look pens to me, even if soft in each case. Morgan, what on earth?! Even if Kasper called you don't hesitate there.
yorkie1999 Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 I've just watched their penalty on sky and IMO no way. Their stricker has ran into the back of Morgan, put his foot through on the ball got in a tangle and gone down. And then ran and picked the ball up trying to indicate to the ref it was a clear penalty. Looked more like a free kick to us. And billy Davies post match interview is just embarrassing and desperate. What a moaning dodgy eyebrowed midget twat.
Monsell1976 Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Just watched the two managers' interviews. So much happier with NP, Billy's such a whiny little manhelmet.Just watched the goals on sky, didn't listen to the match as I was busy, oh and I don't care about forest 😆, for me Nigel didn't look best pleased with his sides performance and remained composed, billy proved what a willy puller he is, talking like they got un fairly treated and threw his toys out.Like I say didn't listen but looking at the highlights, soft goals conceeded, ref had a shocker looking at it, but for both sides, not convinced konch is a straight red, very hard tackle, drinkwater penalty was soft. But no matter how much billy moans and cries the result stands, and how the game played out, I'm very happy with the point.
bluesbrothers Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 I dunno about you guys, but after seeing Konch flatten Mackie in the replays, and given the eventual result, I have to say... wasn't a red card, but worth it for the entertainment factor alone. Proper tackle from the derbies of old, eh?Love you Pauly babes!

How can the forest fans possibly look up to him as their leader I,ll never know. No wonder all the other managers in the league think he's a twat.
HEGGSY Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 lol Billy Davies "There was a clear infringement by at least a yard by the player that eventually scored the goal when the penalty was taken. It should've been a retake " Jesus wept "At least a yard"
bluesbrothers Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 I love James's reaction in that pic haha 'avin that beaut as me avatar, m'duck.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 lol Billy Davies "There was a clear infringement by at least a yard by the player that eventually scored the goal when the penalty was taken. It should've been a retake " Jesus wept "At least a yard" would he have said that if we didn't score after the miss
HEGGSY Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Jus to make that comment even more laughable Bear in mind Mahrez is still outside the box and it's already been taken Davies, what a bitter cvnt you are.
whoareyaaa Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Great result considering the circumstances and we are still looking strong at the top! Roll on Ipswitch hopefully we can follow on with 3 points and keep the the chasing pack at bay. This team won't lie down thats for sure.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Bad point for Forest good point for us... Forest dropping points suited Burnley, QPR and Derby. Good result for everyone bar Forest
lgfualol Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 **** of Billy Davies you giant vaginal bloodfart
Bayfox Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Cracking game of football. Don't rate them but they seem able to do a job on us this season tho. 2-1 down and a man lite. I'd say a point is a decent outcome. Think the last 2 games have proved It may just be our year.
AKCJ Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 It literally takes seconds for the bitter tears to flow. God almighty what an absolutely monstrous cock head.

You've answered your own question there - Forest fans clearly have a lot in common with their manager.
