Agent Fox Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 When the unbeaten run ends and we actually lose a game of football. Many, and I know I will be one of them, no matter how much I try to resist, will be reaching for the proverbial bottle and fearing the worst. Every player will come in for criticism, Pearson's tactics will be to blame and our impending promotion party will be off. How will you react?
Ric Flair Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 We need to really savour this right now because it's going to be hard for some to take when we hardly win many games again next season.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Its always gonna be scary losing a game when in our situation, you just never know how long it'll be til we win again. We could still **** this up
broughtonblue Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 I nearly went into meltdown wen they scored on Saturday, didn't realise teams were still allowed to do such things
StanSP Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 How will I react? Erm, not by not over-reacting and realising it is only 1 game we've lost after a monumental run. Realise we're still on for promotion and still think positive. It's not hard. We know the talent and belief that the squad has. I believe they will bounce back for the next game whoever that may be. Basically, not have an apocalyptic meltdown .
Bayfox Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 We are gonna lose? Best not be saturday I'm driving so will be the only sober party in my car!!! It's a long way home.
Istilllovefilbert Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Prob beat the wife up Do mine for me. Seriously, I think there is a danger of panic. Seen it before. In saying that, we have to lose nearly all our games and we still may stumble over the line. So don't worry too much, we are surly going to lose one, aren't we?
Beliall Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 we will probably lose on the day that a win would seal promotion / title
Corky Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Won't matter, it'll be a pre-season friendly against Bayern Munich.
theessexfox Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 It'll be the second leg of next season's League Cup semi-final, when we've already won 6-0 in the first leg.
Deucalion Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 I think I'm a pretty sensible chat and I also think the next time we lose it will hurt. I dread to think how a not so sensible chat will react?!?!
Captain... Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 If we lose one of the games before Burnley, then people will start shitting themselves about being overtaken at the top, hopefully the players will too and smash Burnley, we have some tough games coming up, but we really can't fvck up promotion from here... ...can we?
Nick Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 I think somebody should start the Pearson Out thread now in anticipation.
MC Prussian Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 I'll learn how to fly a commercial airplane, then hijack one during a routine passenger flight, shut off all communications devices and land it somewhere only I know where it is do you think I'd be so daft to tell anyone beforehand?

Sounds a bit far fetched mate.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 We're in such a strong position that losing a game will have very little effect
