turkish14 Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Pretty sure he was getting fed up with Knocky shooting and wasting the ball when there were better options on. Agree nuge was getting pissed off with knocky, after the match they were chatting, and seemed fine. But the episode when nuge came off? I assumed was with a burnley player. sure nuge said a few colourful words,
iamafox Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Brilliant performance from our players today, fantastic noise from the away section and a superb win to boot. Days like this really make me proud to be a Leicester City fan. BLUE ARMY
ScouseFox Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Knockers nailed the bar at the start of the second half and then cracked 2 or 3 further shots from difficult positions over the bar before Nuge came off, pretty sure he was just a bit pissed because he's been free back post once or twice but not got the ball. All smiles at the end.
midland_red Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 well then! I said we would lose 2-1....! Getting the stage where even I can seriously beleive that we're really, truly, after 10 blasted years...going up!!!!!!!!!!! it sounds a fanastic performance (wasnt able to watch it), coming after the Blackburn and Yeovil glitches shows immense mental stamina. Massive respect to Burnley too - hope yo ucome up with us
daddylonglegs Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Anyone got a link for the goals? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Jordan Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Just got home. What a day. Fans were top notch, noise throughout and massive celebrations. Been singing zombie nation all the way home. Sean Dyche can suck a dick if he thinks they were hard done by. Kasper messed up one kick which lead to us having to clear a cutback in injury time of the first half, other than that they didn't even threaten to threaten. They were dominated by a better team. Wes and Was were monstrous, Schlupp and RDL both good going forwards and back. Drinky and James controlled the game as usual and our two wingers strutted their stuff. Knockaert's volley off the bar, jeez, if that had gone in id have wet myself. Nuge and Wood linked well and both got great goals. Wood's was a hit and a half. Leicester's goin up goin up, Leicester's goin upppp!!! If he really does think that, then yeah, he can suck a fat, veiny one. But I think Dyche is just trying to shift blame to Chris Foy to take pressure off his own players. He certainly isn't going to say that Leicester played them out of the park, the title looks to be out of reach, and that despite their lead over QPR, things will be difficult with several top players injured. I think he's indirectly telling his players not to feel so bad about the result. Burnley have done really well to get in this position at this point in the season, so I think Dyche is being extra careful to make sure his players keep their chins up until they get the job done. I highly doubt he'd say what he said in the post-game presser if he spoke to Nigel about the game on the phone tonight.
CosbehFox Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Fantastic club Burnley hats off to them they deserve to come up with us Classy fans today. No bitterness. They just respected the performance. They will be up but Dyche is getting a little too involved with the emotion of it all recently. What a day. Great support. We were just better rather than excellent. Traffic was a pain but alas you don't care on days like today. That was special today - memories for years which I can tell my kids in the future.
justfoxes Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 I don't know why Sean Dyche is moaning about the ref, imo he had a good game. Not a single card shown & he kept the game flowing. OK he missed seeing Vardeys arm in a deadlock, but he can't give a penalty if he doesn't see the offence. Credit due to both teams, not only for a good entertaining game, but for a good attacking but clean game. No bloody Premiership cheating & pretending to be decapitated or both legs broken! Well done everybody, the players, the management, the fans & the ref. Put your mortgage on City as Champ's & Burnley runners up. Why do you think they haven't really played many top quality teams this season and he's a right whiner about the ref and apparently they were two soft goals ??!! Sorry to say Dyche they were two quality goals taken well !! To me the ref had a good game so stop whining Duche bag !! But Some of the tackles and altercations from the burnley lot leave a lot to be desired he never mentioned that !! Another superb display from the lads again and another 3 points nearer the premier league , keep playing like this and we will be promoted at Wigan !! AND I MUST ALSO SAY ANOTHER SUPERB FOLLOWING BY THE TRAVELING FOXES FANS AND WELL DONE YOU WERE ALL SUPERB !!!'

Sol thewall Bamba Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Off to work, my boss is a Burnley fan, never looked forward to a Saturday night shift more!
ScouseFox Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 also love for lloyd dyer somehow grew even more today even though he didn't get on the pitch. first man there to celebrate with woody/away end after our second and first man out his seat on the bench when jeff got in a bit of aggro at the end. anyone watching on tv know what happened there? looked like burnley just got frustrated because we're just too good for them.

Blond Witch Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Sean Dyche...... Leicester were deserved winners So I'm not sure why some of you are whinging about him whinging.
marko Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Sean Dyche...... So I'm not sure why some of you are whinging about him whinging. Probably because he said the major decisions went our way and they were soft goals.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Sean Dyche...... So I'm not sure why some of you are whinging about him whinging. Well said that manI think in fairness from a Burnley point of view the first goal (great goal from Nuge) was soft defensively for them to concede. 2nd goal fair play was just a great goal
Blond Witch Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Probably because he said the major decisions went our way and they were soft goals. No not major decisions, 'fine margins' in a game and soft goals from a Burnley defending perspective. If we had have defended like we have been then you 'may' not have scored. Just like Pearson not giving that much credit to Yeovil in midweek. He knew that if Leicester had put the chances away like they have most of the season, then Leicester would have won.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Would love to know the story behind this!

A) Apologies, he didn't say major, he said "big decisions went their way" - I'm not sure what big decisions they were. B) I'm not sure you could have done much to prevent the "soft" goals as they were both very good bits of individual skill. C) Pearson didn't give an interview after Yeovil so I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion. D) I'm not arguing with you I was just saying why I thought people were bringing up Dyche's comments - I hadn't previously said a word about them.
MC Prussian Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 How many Leicester fans were there today exactly? Must be somewhere between 3'000 and 4'000.
Babylon Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Probably because he said the major decisions went our way Other than a blatant penno obviously. I think in the main the Burnley fans I have seen on here and their message board have been sound. But some of the claret tinted specs stuff does get a bin annoying (I'm sure we have many who are the same). They moan about Vardy getting a penno in the first game when their defender barges into him in the box, and then moan that a foul wasn't given against Chris Wood for an even milder barge on their defender... can't have it both ways.
Stevie Synex Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Indeed, a lot of respect, great club, very well run and wonderful fans. Really ? Poor ground and moaned at everyting for me

B) Well the first Edgar gets turned (and gets in Duff's way) by Lionel Messi, sorry David Nugent when even I could have made a challenge, the shot and goal itself was great. The second goal Duff doesn't deal with it like he normally does and gets brushed off the ball far too easily. The strike after that was great. C) I've watched the preview of todays game on Foxes Player and he talks about the game against (when asked about it) Yeovil. D) I'm not arguing with you either, but if you want a fight I can be in Leicester at about 11.30pm.
Babylon Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Really ? Poor ground and moaned at everyting for me Moaning started from the first whistle about the ref, and he'd actually done nothing wrong. Seemingly going into full "he's out to get us" mode when Kightly decided to do a lunge from behind on Schlupp, getting at most a fraction of the ball and then go through the man.

Yeah, I know he said we were deserving winning in the same interviews, but I think what followed is probably why some of our fans think it was a little churlish. Not a chance! I'm tall and have legs and arms like spaghetti so you'd beat me no bother
