Schmeichel 7.5- Solid game- great stops from Kightly and Barnes

De Laet 6.5 Nothing special but consistent as usual

Morgan 8 Apart from one slip, he was a man-mountain MOTM

Wasilewski 7.5 Partner in crime for Morgan- too many long balls though

Schlupp 8 Great all around display

Knocky 7 Gave it his all

Drinkwater 7.5 Clever play at times-did his bit

James 7.5 Likewise

Mahrez 7.5 One of our biggest threats

Nugent 7.5 Much better game in the second half. Great finish.

Vardy 6.5 Huffed and puffed

Schemichael 0 accident waiting to happen always making mistakes

Schluup 1 not a left back should be playing forward

Waysl 1 a sending off waiting to happen

Morgan 2 Forest reject should go back there useless

De Laet 1 rubbish needs to go!

Knocky 2 all flair and no work rate

Mahrez 1 as above

Drinky 0 all he does is play it side ways

James 1 went missing

Vardy 0 non league player should go back there

Nuge 1 goals don't count offers nothing useless

Wood 1 over weight and crap

Kasper 7 Nothing to do bar one save which you'd expect him to make

De Laet 7.5 Defended very well. Not so great going forward but he's a full back after all!

Morgan 8.5 Absoultely fantastic

Wasileski 7 Not great in the air but put a shift in

Schlupp 8.5 Absolutley brilliant as usual. So good going forward and so quick that nobody can get past him

Knockaert 7 Plenty of effort

James 7 Quiet by his standards

Drinkwater 7 See James

Mahrez 8 Looks lovely when he's running with the ball. Really good display

Nugent 7 What a goal. Standard Nugent. That's why he gets in the team every week; even after a few poor games he's still likely to do something like he did today

Vardy 6.5 Should have had a pen. Hope he's not badly injured

Wood 8 Put himself about, actually won balls in the air and what a goal. Well done Woody

Going to a team that haven't lost at home all season and making them look average is something to be very proud of!

Schmeichel 8- Couple of solid saves. good game


De Laet 7 Contribution in defence was excellent


Morgan 7 Slip could have cost us but overall solid as usual


Wasilewski 7 Didn't think it was his best game today but was solid enough


Schlupp 9 Awesome today MOM. Skillful and clever. Shame that his goal didn't come off


Knocky 7 Real team performance ran for everything


Drinkwater 7 Went missing at times


James 7.5 Not the greatest game from James but did his defensive duties very well


Mahrez 8.5 Skillful and quick it was a good game from him


Nugent 7 Goal was superb 


Vardy 7 Should have got a penalty for some excellent play

Schmeichel - 7 - Had nothing to do really.

De Laet - 7 - Steady, much improved on recent performances.

Morgan - 8 - Tank.

Wasyl - 7 - Tank. Lost the ball too much to match Wes' rating though.

Schlupp - 9 - He's a left back, MOTM for me.

Knocky - 8 - Thought he was excellent, bar a 15 minute spell when he lost the ball too much.

James - 7 - Him and Drinky can go all the way IMO, another great performance.

Drinky - 9 - Imperious. Got to be worth loads, he's the vital cog in the best team in the league.

Mahrez - 7 - Improveds on his Blackburn and Yeovil performances but not up to his Blackpool best (still made Mee look silly, often).

Nugent - 7 - He was missing before his goal but you could see what it did to him. It was like a shot of adrenaline, he was everywhere after that.

Vardy - 6 - Should have had a penalty, shame he went off injured.

 

Wood - 8 - Assist and a goal, can you ask more of a substitute? Shite celebration mind.

GTF - 6 - Didn't have much of an effect on the game which was already won at the time. 

Hammond - 6 - Did what he does best, saw the game out.

Schlupp was brilliant- again! As was De Laet, what an Improved player defensively! An outstanding team performance in a high pressure situation- 10's all round.

I thought De laet was absolutely phenomenal ... How has he only got 6.5? One of his best performances of the season.. An 8 for me

Agree with this, was solid defensively and supported well going forward. Great game! Just wish he could put a better ball into the box!

Great to see such a variety of responses to this. We all see the game differentlly, so its nice to see lots of different names being picked out for praise... de laet, schlupp, wood, james and mahrez all deseverdly picking up motm nominations.

For me i thought knockaert was outstanding. His overall game has improved dramatically this season.

Motm tho was drinkwater. He ran the show yet again. He just makes it look so easy too.

I love this team.

Kasper 7 - Couple of routine saves. Kicking good.

De Laet 8 - His best defensive display of the season. He was fantastic.

Schlupp 7 - A slow start but another very assured performance.

Morgan 8 - Captain leads by example.

Wasyl 7 - Not scared to put his head in where it hurts. A very astute signing.

Knocky 8 - Has added so much to his game. Class with the ball and puts so much effort in every game. If only that volley went in.

Mahrez 7 - Silky. Love watching him when he runs so directly at defences. Another quality signing.

Drinky 8 - Controlled the game.

James 8 - Picked up the scraps, won 50/50's - the perfect foil for Drinky.

Nugent 8 - A pest all afternoon and what a great goal.

Vardy 5 - Maybe he's been carrying a knock the last few games. Just wasn't himself.

Wood 8 - I would say he was our MOTM. Did fantastically well for Nuge's goal and looked like the Woody that we'd signed last January. Great hold up play and boom, What a finish!

GTF 6 - He's deceptively a very good player. His technical ability is a joy to watch.

Kasper 9 - One kick that went wrong but apart from that did nothing wrong.

 

RDL 9 -  Absolutely brilliant defensively, quietened some of his doubters there..

Morgan 10 - Dealt with absolutely everything, few slip ups by Was and Jeff but helped them out with his 'pace'.

Was 9 - As above, they both didn't have to deal with much.

Schlupp 8 - Few stray passes but was brilliant in the second half, his forward runs cause absolute havoc.

 

Knockaert 10 - Absolutely phenomenal, his all round performance has grown so much in the space of a season, 90th minute chasing the keeper down was amazing.

James 10 - Outstanding today, did that job that really doesn't get noticed, cleared everything up and protected the back four brilliantly.

Drinkwater 10 - This man is sensational, his ability to find the ball, look up and make space shows why he's the Championships best midfielder.

Mahrez 9 - What a player, the way he ran at Ben Mee at every opportunity was so good to see. Could've picked out a better ball at the end but this comes with experience.

 

Nugent 9 - He really does love playing against Burnley, what a finish for the goal and that little kick up and head from the bench made me chuckle.

Wood 10 - Did nothing that you could fault, the people that say  'Wood can't head the ball' really can't say that today, that goal  :wub:

Schmeichel 6 - Few saves, but hardly had to do anything

 

De Laet 8 - Defended superbly today, cut out a lot of balls

Morgan 8 - Apart from that slip, he was excellent

Wasilewski 7 - Let a few balls go over his head, but overall decent performance

Schlupp 7 - Thought he was awful first 10-20 mins, but grew as the game went on

 

Knockaert 7 - Was everywhere again today, tried a bit too hard at times

James 8 - Worked his socks off in midfield, closed down well & won balls

Drinkwater 7 - Didn't think he saw much of the ball first half, excellent second half

Mahrez 7 - Mixture in my opinion, some brilliant stuff, but some poor bits of play as well

 

Vardy 5 - Didn't look right, but glad Wood done the business

Nugent 7 - Worked tirelessly, offered a lot to the team, and scored with a decent finish

Wood 8 - Great hold up play for Nugent's goal, and a cracking strike for his own

Schmeics 7 - Nowt to do, did what was needed for the Arfield chance

De Laet 8 - Showed for the ball a lot, got involved

Wasyl 8 - Got about, clearances good

Morgan 8.5 - Believe Burnley are drafting a Missing Persons notice for Ashley Barnes as we speak

Mahrez 8.5 - Some great dribbles, end product lacked a bit but used the ball very well

Drinkwater 8 - Did what he does, some great tackles and some clever play

James 7.5 - Did what he does

Knockaert 8.5 - Superb today, worked very hard, great strike that hit the feathers

Nugent 8 - Great goal

Wood 8.6 - What a goal! And did superbly for the first. MOTM

Yeovil looked a better side than Burnley!!!!

Bit harsh when their 3 most influential players all season didn't feature.

I don't think we would look as good if we lost DD, Nugent and Vardy.

I just hope they've got enough of a cushion not to let second place slip as they thoroughly deserve to go up with us.
