“I will be looking to extend his contract regardless of what league we are in next season because I think he will bring a level of performance and knowledge, which will add to the squad.†Nigel Pearson said, at which point Was released the grip on NP's jÄ…dra and gave the call to release the manger's daughter. 'You are a very good man Mr Pearson' he said 'I think we can be friends, yes?'

He deserves it, even if he doesn't play week in week out in the Prem.

He has been a very good signing, and tbh his relationship as a fan's favourite now, is very similar to when we had Berner.

Two quality experienced players, who have done the business for us.

lol Apparently he's great off of the pitch and obviously an animal on it, Wasyl is bipolar.

Our signings this season have been excellent; Nige has been real coy and I like it. Adding experience with Hammond, GTF, Phillips and Was that are obviously influential not only on the pitch but off the pitch.

Nige's interview the other month documented it well. He spoke about how big these characters were in the dressing room.

Fully agree with this. Good experienced professional with a fantastic attitude to the game, real team player. Having said that I'd like our starting pairing to be Morgan and Moore.

Is he the only player Nige has ever been afraid to headbutt?

Nope. They repeatedly head butt each other to release stress before bear hugging, thumping each other on the back and going about their business of eating lesser mortals. Forest haven't been getting injuries, they've been feeding them to Nigel as he threatens further famine and pestilence upon them.

Nige asserts his alpha dominance after every game. watch tunnel cam.

If I was a striker I would ask for the day off if he was marking me

This. The guy is quality with a capital KW. In the Walsh/taggart/ elliot mode for me. But he can actually play football as well- sorry Walshy!

Big Waz has been Nige's greatest signing. In my opinion he was the missing link. Made our team mould into the unbeatable beast. He's my player of season by miles. I hope he's here next year.

Think he's played better than Morgan in the last few but I'm worried about his lack of pace.

I don't always go along with this pace thing for centre halves - as long as your full backs have pace they can cover for slower centre halves. Terry, Mertersacker and Vidic aren't particularly quick, but have proved to be very effective. I think we have to accept that strikers of the quality of Saurez and Aguero will give most defenders a torrid time. Like the idea of giving Was another year as he's got that never say die attitude that's at the heart of our club. He's also a decent defender.

At the yeovil game the ball came rolling slowly toward our bench, he was the only one who jumped up and chucked the ball over to not waste time. love the bloke!

I seen this too, was brilliant too see. Love how he sprints off when he is subbed, really is a true warrior and team player.

Was has such a good attitude. If he's subbed he comes straight off.Yesterday,he recognised and encouraged Wood for his contribution to Nuge's goal.I missed his contribution as a ballboy referred to earlier in the thread but that's Was,quality.

Fantastic news. What a great addition he's been. He deserves his shot at the premiership.

Also don't think he'd be a problem wages wise and in negotiations. I reckon he'd pull you hand off for a new deal (quite literally - it is Wasyl)
