Munshi Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 If (When) we get promoted, what do you lot want for our first 3 games, I think i'd want one of the 'top' teams just to see how far we have come and if we are capable. Mine would be: Villa (A) - Pretty close, we'd have quite a big chance of winning it and it would be a good away day. Newcastle (H) - Don't know why tbh. Spurs (A) - Always wanted to go to White Hart Lane, if they're as shit as they are this season, got a chance of winning. Yours?
Finnaldo Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Villa (A)- decent club, only in Birmingham, with a chance of winning. Burnley/other promoted team (H)- Likely to be the weaker of the Prem sides. Hopefully a chance at 3 points if we failed to at the first game or to even add. Liverpool (H) good home fixture against a good team. Will most likely lose but will really hit home that we are back in the Prem. Also have a Liverpool mate I can take down as well.
Brooksy Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 United at home Villa away. Burnley/promoted team/lower league side at home.
foxfanazer Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Norwich (h) assuming they stay up United (a) don't always start the season too well Burnley (h)
One Legged Beaver Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 I'd probably want three winnable games to start with just to ease us into the league. Norwich (H) Man U (A) Hull (H)
Jimothy Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Newcastle to start. They're a shamble right now, can't see it improving, so I think we'd give the a right shellacking.
maynefox Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 This or something of the equivalent to it:Stoke (h) London-based team (a) [have a nice sunny summer day out in London]Villa (h) Bit of a tough start, but would test us initially.
Finnegan Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Anyone shit. Please God not Man City or Chelsea away.
Leicester1884Filbert Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Burnley (Away) Liverpool (Home) West Ham (Away)
eye666 Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 It would inevitably be an away at one of the top 4 - it's sod's law.
Happy Fox Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Newcastle (h)Aston Villa (a) Everton (a) That is what I reckon.
Xen Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Winnable game away (i.e. Villa/West Ham) Newly promoted side at home Big club away. Get some points on the board early on before we start coming up against the top teams.
Fox92 Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Home game against a team going nowhere ala Villa. Last thing we need is a game against Manchester City or Chelsea and get smashed for 5.
Fox42 Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 I reckon it'sSouthampton (A) Newcastle (H) Norwich (A) If so i can see us getting 5 points from them.
mrgarrison16 Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 I reckon Liverpool (a) Swansea (h) Southampton (h)
Bayfox Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Villa away Burnley home Newcastle away Chance to get some points on the road and a home win. 7-9 points out of those games would really give us some confidence.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 I'd go for: Man Utd (a) Spurs (h) Newcastle (a) 9 easy points before they remember how to play For this reason I would have said Liverpool (we were a bit of a bogey team for them in the late 90's) but I'd fear them even if I were a Man City fan, they're tearing some serious arseholes these days
jonthefox Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Southampton away. I'm thinking of doing the Isle of wight around that time.
cjslcfc Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Big home game to start - Everton (H) Somewhere away that's fairly close and a winnable game - Villa (A) Fellow promoted team at home - Derby (H) We need to get points on the board right from the off
leftbackinthechangingroom Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Newcastle (h) Southampton (a) West Brom (a)
