Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 It is fairly obvious just from reading the posts on this forum that it happened at a different time for everybody. Some people weren't convinced until it was mathematically impossible for us not to go up, while others were saying it was a done deal before the season had started. For me, it was after our 1-0 victory in December away at QPR who were flying at the time, the goal coming from Jamie Vardy's ruthless finish. Perfect away performance, clean sheet and 3 points, even better considering we came away from the 3 games before that with 1 point out of 9. When did everyone else just "get that feeling" we were going to do it?
CosbehFox Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Probably Bournemouth away. Scrappy as hell win and the points gap was opening up. That's when I started believe.
Brooksy Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Derby at home in the league, we were a class above and smashed 'em from start to finish.
LCFC1996 Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Leeds away I think I started to believe, Watford at home confirmed it
StanSP Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Burnley away. QPR away, Watford away, late equaliser at Forest, Leeds away - they all played their part too. Schmeichel vs Yeovil, too.
Deucalion Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 I knew we would be promoted against Burnley away. I was still having some butterflies following the Yeovil game.
Lionator Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Right back when we beat Fulham. I knew the way we won that game, that we had that little bit extra.
Kitchandro Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Leeds away. Frankly, I've thought it was just a matter of time since then.
Dan Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 I started thinking it could be our year at Watford, and after I left Derby at home I thought... we're actually going to do this.
Tuna Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Bolton at home where we crushed them 5-3 after going behind twice?
Finnaldo Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 When I looked at the table, saw us 15+ points clear and though "there's no way even we could fook it up this year"
lgfualol Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Burnley away I still had a feeling like we'd **** something up. Definitely better than my 7th place prediction pre-season
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Derby at home. A team that can perform like that can not be in this division for too long. We were a class above.
Fox in the North Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Woods goal against Burnley. A finish that had me going mental in a random pub in hull.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Derby at home for me. I remember saying it as we walked out.
Leicester_Numan Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 QPR, I think that was when the team really started to believe it as well. Although, there was always that tiny little doubt in the back of my mind that we'd do it, it all just seemed to be going too well. Very untypical Leicester
GeoLCFC Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 For me it has to be when we beat Derby 4-1, I was a little nervous that we may lose but after the match I was certain that we were going up and I am so glad to say I was correct

Everyone could see us hammering a team who were thinking about going up automatically, definitely changed the way a lot of people viewed us.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Burnley away Ok we all had a good feeling months before that but this game just confirmed everything
Tom's Pasta Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Probably Leeds away. Didn't play particularly well with the ball that day but found a way in the end. But that has been such a common theme this season, we've been unbelievably efficient. There haven't been too many occasions where we've destroyed teams, but we've been incredibly good at getting the most from a performance even if it hasn't been our best. What a season though
