Bored now. Buy a different bag of crisps

Be careful, I was called a 'Moron' and 'Fanny' for saying this 4 days ago!

The thing is any other striker we try and sign now is going to know they are second choice. This whole thing stinks

Not at all, most managers will have a list of targets...you can be sure that we will get knock backs

Not sure why people are so hung up about his age. Generally a striker reaches his peak at about 28 so , with a bit of luck, we'd be signing a guy in his prime. £6 million+ is a lot of money but if he scores / makes the goals that keep us up then he's more than paid back his transfer fee.

Unless you can afford to pay £30 million+ then I think most strikers are a bit of a gamble. I do trust NP/SW and whilst £6million+ is a lot of money for an unknown at this level, I think most strikers within our price bracket would be the same sort of gamble.

Maybe this is a blessing in disguise. No other top flight club is interested are they?

Pulis tried to sign him for Palace in January. Sorry if that wrecks your negativity.

Wouldn't be surprised to see us linked with a different striker in the next couple of days to show we have 'moved on' and try and force a transfer request.

Said from day 1that I can see this going to deadline day.

It's hilarious that people are getting so frustrated with the process of cagily making offers to buy what the manager believes will be an asset.

Kingfox et al, try and imagine it as Ulloa being on e-bay and that the listing doesn't close for another month but the 'make offer button' is highlighted and we've tried our luck a few times.

Albion knock back Leicester bid for Ulloa while Hyypia chases his own targets

Albion last night turned down Leicester City’s latest bid for Leo Ulloa.

But the Foxes are expected to retain interest in the Seagulls striker after seeing an offer believed to be in excess of £6million knocked back.

Stop your whinging about 31 pages.

Over on RealGM the thread(s) about Lebron's non decision in NBA Free Agency has exceeded 1000 pages. The gamut of emotions and trolling and flase twitter sources is truly amazing. It would make a great book.

I find it amazing we are offering that sort of money for a slightly better than average forward

Did it also amaze you that we paid 1 million for a conference player?

For a proven Premiership striker, or a proven striker at the top level, we would have to pay masses in fees and also wages. We might be bidding £6-7Million, but, Ulloa would probably come and fit into our wage structure as well. He is the mobile target man that NP seemingly wants to sign.

IF we was to go down in next year, then, it wouldn't be a bad strike force to have back in the Championship - Vardy/Nuge/Ulloa/Wood. I think he is a safe solid signing for us. Not going to set the league alight as an individual, but NP is all about the team. He would fit into the team ethic that NP has/is installing, and I think we will stay up next year.

I don't think you can just sign a cheap 'foreigner' and it will all be hunky dory. Ulloa has at least, settled into England life, which would also be beneficial to us.

I'm sure we will bid again, and hopefully will get him in soon.

Not at all

Well 1 million for a non league player was a first whilst 6 million for a championship player isn't so your logic is kind of wrong!
