@soccer_sauce: We understand Leicester City are in early talks with Stoke City regarding the loan signing of MF Jamie Ness #SCFC #lcfc (Jan 2nd)

Need I go on?

Ulloa is leaving Brighton to join a Premier League side and it is almost certainly Leicester. The transfer fee will be officially undisclosed. Too many hints to be anything else. If Leicester leak the fee it will be the amount they paid which may be different from the amount Brighton receive. Just a question of when. I cannot see personal terms being a problem.

Advantage Leicester. The fee will probably be less than the press speculation?

It's true that he was literally crucified during his time in Israel, but I'm confident that he can resurrect his career with us. He's highly rated as a world-class left-footer in Rome, and has undoubted leadership qualities that have won him a lot of disciples. I even heard that he has several billion followers - on Twitter, I assume.

The club will be able to provide free fish burgers and wine from all catering outlets, too, as a loss leader. I can't see him being very happy about all the merchandising in the temple of football, though.

My main concern is a rival bid from Southampton, with all the money they've got for Lallana and Shaw. Yep, I reckon the Saints will go marching in.

Come on, Brighton! Give us Ulloa before cabin fever proves fatal around here!

Ha ha brilliant!

Surely the double L should make a Y sound like it does in the rest of Spanish? Como te llamas, tortilla, etc etc

double L makes a y sound in Français as well.

It can be pronounced like a Y, or like a kind of hybrid of "Jo" and "Show". Either is correct.

Well if they have rejected it for a 4th time,

Think they must have pots of money and no debt!

Move on leicester

Wouldnt be hurt if we did.

Well, I did say on another thread today that this was about the top price I think we should pay for him...

Did also say we need to put a big offer in though for someone decent, so, if that is to be the case let's just spend big on a strong striker. A Pelle, Cardozo, Wickham type. Ulloa is good but he isn't of that ilk so if they are available...then perhaps this may be a blessing.

If they have rejected the last bid, it's definitely time to move on. We all know that prices of players from English clubs are ridiculously inflated so let's look abroad and find someone either cheaper or for the same money. The likes of Bony, Michu etc have all done well and didn't cost much more than what Ulloa has been priced at so surely Steve Walsh can find us another gem. I still think we should go for Cardozo or Pelle (if we haven't already). We need to get out of the mentality of 'they won't sign for us cos a bigger team has been linked'! If we sneak in first it doesn't matter who's been linked if they haven't made a bid.

I trust Nige to get us sorted but we defo need a top striker soon, ideally before the friendlies start

To be honest doesn't help when fulham buy McCormack for 11million! prices being inflated all the time, I think the only way this will happen is if Ulloa put's in a transfer request. Otherwise we need to move on can't waste our time and waste our money on him imo.
