BoyJones Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 It's a dark day for prem officials most weeks. The standard is simply disgraceful. The job is not difficult, just use eyes and common sense; previously a pre requisite, but now low down on the job spec priorities. With the amount of money and managers jobs involved, you would think that the powers that be would place improving the referring as a top priority. Sadly not.
cjslcfc Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 That was absolutely ridiculous. Definitely a worse decision than the second penalty. The second penalty you can at least understand in some sense. I just can't get my head round why he gave a yellow. If that's a yellow then you'd see about 5 sendings off a side each game.
The Doctor Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Not a natural position at all. His arm is out stretched along way from his body for no good reason, I agree he is trying to pull it out the way (therefore knowing his arm shouldn't be there in the first place) but doesn't manage it, therefore, penalty. They're out while slightly crouched, like every player does - it's balancing, and a natural position

Possibly, but after the first one is given its a bitter pill to swallow! And then you watch match of the day and see smalling playing basket ball and it's even worse!
Soar Fox Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Are Aston Villa the most pointless club in the premier league. Even my mate who is a big villa fan wants them to get relegated.
Rasmic123 Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 worst refereeing decisions today are the wes penalty and green not getting sent off, they are the only ones that were 100% wrong. routledge gave the ref a reason to send him off (never a red card in my book however). henry is a dirty fuccker though (much like the rest of his team) and should have been sent off cos he could have broke the guys leg. personally i'd have clouted him
Unabomber Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Gary asks what's your fave goal of the day, personally I replied Erm hello Nugents. How about everyone else?
Rasmic123 Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Gary asks what's your fave goal of the day, personally I replied Erm hello Nugents. How about everyone else? toure's was a peach. really liked ings little deft header too
theessexfox Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Some great goals and some hilarious decisions. Shoutouts to Szcheszny for a bizarre reaction to a mistake, Alcaraz's second yellow and our liquid football in the build up to Riyad's chance and Nugent's goal.
iancognito Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Fer's was an Exocet and that Toure one would still be going if the net hadn't got in the way but for sheer laugh out loud-ability Southampton's second should be up there.
iancognito Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 our liquid football in the build up to Riyad's chance and Nugent's goal. They should add that into the pre-game video montage. We opened them up like a zip. Mahrez finishes that and it's GOTM.
CosbehFox Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Wasyl's yellow card is up there for one of the worst decisions of the day. It was for a collective three fouls in ten minutes.
MC Prussian Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Forgot about Toure's, yeah that was better. 68 miles per hour. It's so fast, it'd get a ticket in the morning rush hour.
Fox92 Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Anyone else think Everton might get sucked in to trouble? I said they wouldn't be as good as last year but I didn't expect them to be in the lower half of the table. They'll survive though, always do.
Corky Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 toure's was a peach. really liked ings little deft header too Toure does that every week, Nugent is a proven top flight failure who bangs in a beauty after a lovely passing move amongst Championship standard players. Nugent should be goal of the season, no bias included.
shade Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 68 miles per hour. It's so fast, it'd get a ticket in the morning rush hour. not if it was on the motorway!
Corky Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Disappointed that Pochettino didn't go and shake Mourinho's hand well before the end and disappear to chat to his wife. Opportunity missed, Mauricio.
foxfanazer Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Can anybody shed some light on why Gerrard/Liverpool have decided to announce that he's leaving at the end of the season in January? Seems strange to me
Mark_w Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Can anybody shed some light on why Gerrard/Liverpool have decided to announce that he's leaving at the end of the season in January? Seems strange to me Maybe they're trying to distract people from their lucky 2-2 draw with 20th placed Leicester?
Oshhhh Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Can anybody shed some light on why Gerrard/Liverpool have decided to announce that he's leaving at the end of the season in January? Could possibly be because the MLS season is starting now maybe? Seems strange to me
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Maybe they're trying to distract people from their lucky 2-2 draw with 20th placed Leicester? Get the announcement in early, get the bidding war started so he can line his pockets and get his sponsors in place well in advance of the season. I'll give him one thing he aint dumb.
foxfanazer Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Is Nige the second longest serving PL manager behind Wenger now?
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Can anybody shed some light on why Gerrard/Liverpool have decided to announce that he's leaving at the end of the season Seems strange to me Fed up with refs not giving him enough penalties I imagine.
