StanSP Posted 5 August 2014 Posted 5 August 2014 We have signed 250+ players in 10 years? Am I reading that correctly? Frightening. Nope, we've signed and sold 250+ players. Looking at the graph it's roughly 110 sold and 140ish signed.
C-man Posted 5 August 2014 Posted 5 August 2014 Nope, we've signed and sold 250+ players. Looking at the graph it's roughly 110 sold and 140ish signed. I was going to say - otherwise we'd have a squad of 150ish
Ric Flair Posted 5 August 2014 Posted 5 August 2014 Hahahahaaaa I thought we'd got Barry Fry behind the scenes for a minute then!!!
Haydos Posted 5 August 2014 Posted 5 August 2014 That's a ridiculous signing! Whatever you think of QPR the signings of Caulker, Mutch and Isla are terrific They are, but aren't they gambling quite a bit again? Their revenue is probably less than ours (feel free to show me figures proiving otherwise). Not sure about Caulker and Mutch but Isla must be wanting 50/60k a week.
lgfualol Posted 5 August 2014 Posted 5 August 2014 That's what happens when you have 100000 managers in ten years
Guest Col city fan Posted 5 August 2014 Posted 5 August 2014 That's what happens when you have 100000 managers in ten years What, like we did before Pearson this time round?
C-man Posted 5 August 2014 Posted 5 August 2014 What, like we did before Pearson this time round? That's what he's talking about. Not everything is about your beloved QPR Col, don't worry.

fox123 Posted 5 August 2014 Posted 5 August 2014 Sunderland sign Jack Rodwell - great signing that. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28649646

If they stay up and we go down then their business will look far betterDon't get me wrong I'd much prefer our approach but in the Prem money talks and that could be our downfall. QPR are obscene and will continue to throw money at it regardless of the stability of the club. The next pompey imo
Nalis Posted 5 August 2014 Posted 5 August 2014 Nope, we've signed and sold 250+ players. Looking at the graph it's roughly 110 sold and 140ish signed. There must be a statto out there who could name them all without cheating!
ealingfox Posted 5 August 2014 Posted 5 August 2014 Sunderland sign Jack Rodwell - great signing that. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28649646 Well it will be if they can keep him fit, the guy is made of glass.
MC Prussian Posted 6 August 2014 Posted 6 August 2014 West Ham allegedly interested in FC Basel's striker Marco Streller. The Hammers are offering a two-year deal for the 33-year old (with an option to extend the contract beyond that).
Babylon Posted 6 August 2014 Posted 6 August 2014 Sunderland sign Jack Rodwell - great signing that. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28649646 Yeah very good if he can stay fit.
The Railway Man Posted 6 August 2014 Posted 6 August 2014 Is Mutch a lot better than Albrighton as well? This is a good point, there is nothing to really suggest that he actually is apart from a transfer fee and people playing too much Football Manager. Mutch (and Caulker) played a part of being the spine in a team that finished bottom of one of the worst top flights in history, I still don't know why people are considering them 'fantastic signings' - everytime I saw Caulker last year he seemed to be at fault for a goal. More a case of just over-rating just English players?
Bayfox Posted 6 August 2014 Posted 6 August 2014 qpr have got Isla on loan from juve, now they have made a signing I would love us to be able to have made.
The Railway Man Posted 6 August 2014 Posted 6 August 2014 qpr have got Isla on loan from juve, now they have made a signing I would love us to be able to have made. I wouldn't worry too much, there have been loads of players like Isla before over here (Lugano, Demel, Delgado) that look fantastic for their country but then couldn't really care less when playing for a club side. QPR had Julio Cesar on the books as well and they ended up shipping him out on loan.
Captain... Posted 6 August 2014 Posted 6 August 2014 I can imagine QPR finishing 12-14th place. I can, and often do, imagine Jessica Alba giving me a blow job, but that doesn't mean it is going to happen.
lgfualol Posted 6 August 2014 Posted 6 August 2014 I can, and often do, imagine Jessica Alba giving me a blow job, but that doesn't mean it is going to happen. Not with that attitude

One Legged Beaver Posted 6 August 2014 Posted 6 August 2014 I still can't see them avoiding relegation. They still haven't addressed the main fault in their team from last season which was creativity, which in fact they have regressed in after losing their two most creative players last season in Morrison and Kranjcar.
David Guiza Posted 6 August 2014 Posted 6 August 2014 Agree with the above. The definition of an imbalanced squad. Lots of quality in some areas, next to none in others. Will perhaps string a few results together, but ultimately will struggle. Cannot stand Rio Ferdinand either so I really hope Vardy rips him to shreds.
Monk Posted 6 August 2014 Posted 6 August 2014 Was looking at some of this season's previews and I have to say I think Villa have finally had it this season. Club is up for sale, manager down in the dumps, they've just signed Richardson and Senderos. What could possible go right for them? I think they will finish bottom.
ScouseFox Posted 6 August 2014 Posted 6 August 2014 howard webb has retired. dunno if it's worth a thread or where is best to put it but we won't have him to blame when we lose games next season.
