Vlad the Fox Posted 2 July 2014 Posted 2 July 2014 Swooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooop
Rushden fox Posted 2 July 2014 Posted 2 July 2014 This guy is 6ft 4, I'm guessing not the quickest. As soon as we have someone tall up front we start lumping it. Therefore on this occasion Pele....I'm out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I'm not sure that 10-12 mil is worth a foxes investment for such an old striker, so I'm afraid I'm out too.....
PAPA LAZAROU Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Best let Nigel and the cub know our decision then.
RowZ Posted 11 July 2014 Posted 11 July 2014 Southampton ready to walk on Pelle £8m valuation http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2892/transfer-zone/2014/07/11/4951142/-? Given Brighton's hardball approach to the Ulloa offer - wonder if this may still be a possibility for us? Or is £6m the ceiling Robinson & the owners have set for the first year back in the prem?
Ric Flair Posted 11 July 2014 Posted 11 July 2014 What about Jelle Vossen who wants to go to Middlesborough as they've had a bid rejected. Genk want 10 million euros. I've rated him for several years.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 11 July 2014 Posted 11 July 2014 If Koeman doesn't deem him worth more than that then I'd trust his judgement!

Yeah it's on sky sports. He's pleased with Genk to not stand in his way, surely he'd rather play in the PL so we should steam in there. I bet we could thrash out a deal for about £5-6 million
Robin JD Popley Posted 11 July 2014 Posted 11 July 2014 I mentioned this earlier on today everyone... (post 428 on the Twitter thread, about half way down on the link). Roma look favourites sadly. Would LOVE him here though! http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/93959-twitter-rumours/page-11
Finnaldo Posted 11 July 2014 Posted 11 July 2014 Seriously? That would be an awesome signing. £10m might be a bit much, but we should definitely go in for him if he's looking to move. It's Euros, so about £7-8 million, just under at £6.5 million would be a good deal.
Grewks Posted 11 July 2014 Posted 11 July 2014 Sky sports just confirmed it is virtually a done deal for pelle to sign for saints. /close thread.

You say we are playing hardball then what do you want our club to do, roll over and sell for £1m? Get a grip you tool. You won't get Ulloa for nothing less than £10m and you can come back with 20 bids which will make you lot look like fools and mugs. You aren't signing any one but Ulloa but I'll be for £10m. Hope you muggs get relegated you bunch of clowns.

I wouldn't call Brighton's approach a hardball one, I'd call it a ludicrous one. Now you have an unhappy player who you could have got a generous fee for but instead decided to hold out for a ridiculous sum of money which we just won't pay. Enjoy the championship xx

chapero82 Posted 11 July 2014 Posted 11 July 2014 15:34 Ronald Koeman is currently holding his first press conference as Southampton manager. He has told the gathered media that he expects in-demand Croatia centre-back Dejan Lovren back for training on Sunday, and adds that a deal for Feyenoord's Italian striker Graziano Pelle is "close". On sky close thread
Xen Posted 11 July 2014 Posted 11 July 2014 To be fair to Brighton (the user), he didnt say in that post that Ulloa was worth £10m. He just said we wouldn't get him for anything less than £10m. BIG difference. How much a player is worth is irrelevant when the player's current club doesn't want to sell.

If you don't like what's being said about your club or player, don't come on our forum polluting it with your crap, and desperation to convince yourself that you can keep your player if we want him, if we want him, we will pay the asking price and he will leave you, that's as far as his loyalty goes with Brighton, wether us city fans would be happy that our club has payed over the odds on a gamble of a player is something to be discussed on a leicester forum by leicester fans.Oh and what division are us mugs in, and even if relegated we will still have owners who back the club financially and have premier league parachute payments to buy more of your players again next summer, if we want them, thanks for your input.
Stadt Posted 11 July 2014 Posted 11 July 2014 How is not a "hardball" approach, and why are you so offended by that?!
