Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 2 September 2017 Posted 2 September 2017 Tom Lawrence worked hard for Wales this evening and did reasonably well. Might have been a premature loss imho. Should have inserted buy back clause perhaps. Kingy was steady when he came on.
kushiro Posted 7 September 2017 Posted 7 September 2017 There is no 'ex-Leicester manager' thread, right? Still love him. Seeing this brings back such clear memories of his interviews in 1999/2000 when all the media dubbed us 'boring Leicester' and said we were a blight on the national game.
lcfcnsk Posted 8 September 2017 Posted 8 September 2017 After an outstanding career as a player, Esteban Cambiasso is retiring to start the next chapter as a manager. Argentinian site El Clarin is reporting the news, Cambiasso retires as the third winningest Argentine player with 24 trophies, just behind Messi (31) and Di Stefano (26). Cambiasso won everything at Inter after arriving from Real Madrid on a free transfer, could he return to the nerazzurri as a manager someday?

My one slight memory of Welsh is him running the whole length of the pitch with the ball before blazing over from about 5 yards out. Sure we signed him on loan twice too. Great times.
