For god's sake. We don't have negative views of your football. We greatly admire Pearson. We think you fully deserved to run away with the league last year. Our forum is basically a perpetual piss-take, and if you keep reacting, sarky posts will continue.

Reacting? Look around, pal, pretty much nobody here is upset or getting trolled and wound up. Pretty much the majority think your forum is hilarious.

If the reaction you're all after is getting laughed at then, uh, well done I suppose?!

We've offered Watford a years supply of Walkers crisps, a £250 King Power coupon, 7 packs of digestive biscuits (mcvities),3 pairs of football boots worn by Danny Drinkwater last season and Jamie Vardys' skidded undies. They're weighing up the offer as we speak.

Lets be honest, It only gets serious when we throw in a pair of size 9 Reebok Classics in white.

I hope you're not thinking big Nige wears size nines.

Reebok sent the wrong size, a 4 year old chinese girl was killed by headbutt as a result and therefore Nigel no longer needs them.

Fvck me you're a funny guy. What does that even mean?

I am, thought not sure how you spotted that from the question.  It means does your former Chairman, the World Famous Sir Elton John still get to Watford Games much.

We won't get involved in a bidding war for players on either transfer fees or wages with other clubs. Nigel has said plenty of times he wants players here who buy into the squad ethos and want to play for Leicester City not those who will go to the highest bidder.

What's the difference between a bidding war with another club and bartering with the players club?

Has Deeney not brought in to the NFP/squad ethos by not asking for a transfer?

You shouldn't blindly believe everything that NFP says, he said we'd only buy a couple of players, yet we've signed 5 already with more to come.

He also said we wouldn't have heard of any of our targets!

Exactly, he's being cute and attempting to mislead other clubs and agents, probably hasn't worked but some on here will take all he says at face value.

Don't know if it's been mentioned by Deeney wasn't in Watford squad last night because it was the anniversary of his Dad's death.

Shit I've missed 10 years worth of days off work to commemorate the death of my Dad, I wonder if I can claim them back?

I don't believe everything he says but he's pulled out on quite a few transfers and told Terry to stop a deal since he's been back at the club due to players agent's trying to use various tactics to squeeze the club for more money. Nigel doesn't suffer fools gladly (hence his occasional run in with Stringer).

Doubt that had anything to do with it, that just stems from him putting a picture up of his grave. Lots of players lose family, you just get on with it.

Surprised QPR would go for him - thought they might be after a big name striker knowing Redknapp but it does seem to be them.

Never mind Vardy - we're linked to another striker from Udinese who will need time to adjust and get used to the Championship..

Personally think we will be a lot poorer without Deeney but money talks..

They're supposed to be after Eto'o to join the Grandads army.

Though to be fair, Deeney and Eto'o would be bloody potent.

We aren't allowed to discuss QPR and Redknapp on here anymore.

But we can talk about the made up team QPS and their manager Barry Redcrapp, the cheeky (but not cockney) chappy.

Vardy had some good games last season. He performed well against sluggish and less agile defenders. He was an unknown quantity playing ill prepared teams. I wonder when Vardy comes up against fitter, stronger, and more intelligent players he might struggle a bit?

QPR's defence back then, or Rio Ferdinand in the upcoming season - Vardy can outpace, outsmart, and strike a ball!

Sure, the quality of defence will be better, but Vardy's execution has already been above and beyond this level.

I think Vardy will adapt well given his tireless efforts at defending from the front, and may snatch a few goals from Kasper's quick kicks. Nugent may find it harder, although he has the experience in the Prem (think that was on the left for Pompey) he may have limited game time now, and may be forced out on the wings in a 4 - 2 - 3 - 1, either way, all of our strikers will have to adapt and pick up positions they wouldnt usually play in, as well as excelling in their strengths. Even GTF has a role to play.

To be fair, as its only a preseason friendly the club probably wouldnt be too fussed about letting him have the time off...

You are right about the player wanting to be here being a big factor for Nige... However it hasnt got to the stage yet where the player has a choice - i seem to remember the bidding war he talked about was indeed to do with the wages... but we cant even be one of those discussing wages if we dont have a bid accepted....

You can take some of my piss if you want, as I have no use for it.
