DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 26 July 2014 Posted 26 July 2014 Too right. If Deeney does go to Burnley, a front two of Ings and Deeney will be a right ol handful to be fair. Too true Col. However, I had a few pints with 'Arry. Well, the geezer was real smug. "DT" says he. "Yes, me old mucker" I replied. "Straight from the 'orses bleedi' mowth, don't tell any bugger, but I'm gonna buy Deeney, jus' to screw yor bleedin' Leicester" He flashed his choppers at me, swigged his pint, and scuttled off, laughing like mad man! Make what you will of that.
Itsthejoeker Posted 26 July 2014 Posted 26 July 2014 I could understand him wanting to play for someone like Villa, Everton or even Burnley.....but I don't think he would ever want to play for anyone as tinpot as leicester.
Jace Posted 26 July 2014 Posted 26 July 2014 He's being torn apart on the SPORT Bible on FB regarding that tweet now..... https://www.facebook.com/SPORTbible/posts/549066255238911

General Smuts Posted 26 July 2014 Posted 26 July 2014 That is magical. I'm definitely staying after the Watford St Albans game and getting him on video to sing Troy and Karl in the morning. Sorry Finners I got too drunk and shouted at him to join QPR instead cos Nige thinks he's a **** and some kids have me the stink eye Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
MPH Posted 26 July 2014 Posted 26 July 2014 And who exactly do Burnley think they are going to sign if someone like Deeney is out of their price range? They'll drop back down quicker than Ultras trousers in a primary school....
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 26 July 2014 Posted 26 July 2014 And who exactly do Burnley think they are going to sign if someone like Deeney is out of their price range? They'll drop back down quicker than Ultras trousers in a primary school.... They'll be fine, they've already got Sordell and Jutkiewicz
johnny the fox Posted 26 July 2014 Posted 26 July 2014 Dyche is becoming more of a cant every day...I wanted to like the guy, but he has a lot of growing up to do.... people should know their place...we know ours..
KFS Posted 26 July 2014 Posted 26 July 2014 Shame for their fans to have someone so obsessed with his financial constraints. The funny thing is, I feel like he would be a bit lost if he actually were to be given a big amount to spend.
Bamba's Babes Posted 26 July 2014 Posted 26 July 2014 Deeney would be a very good buy. When I first heard of our interest and the prices mentioned I was is despair but the more I have thought about it and analysed the statistics, the more I think Troy could do a job. He has a past but judging the bloke on what has followed his brief spell behind bars he seems to have been rehabilitated; that's what prison is all about after all isn't it? Should the worst happen and we go down; we'll have one hell of a Championship strikeforce...
BoyJones Posted 26 July 2014 Posted 26 July 2014 Dyche is already sending the lack of funds issue as some sort of sublimal message in case Burnley go straight back down. He is getting his excuses in early. He was a journeyman player, probably a bit better manager, but he has no Plan "B". Look at our game at their gaff in March. He didn't know how to get his team back in the game after Nuge scored. I was in the Stags Head in London for the game and the atmosphere was well relaxed. Burnley were a well beaten team by half time. I had one eye on the Manx game because it was just a matter of how many we would score. Nigel just took the 2-0 like the professional he is. The premier league is down to know how and tactics and of course skill, but I don't think Dyche has it in him to outthink the top managers, but then again I didn't think Bruce had it either and they stayed up ok, plus a cup final appearance.
Mark_w Posted 26 July 2014 Posted 26 July 2014 Am I right in saying Vardy has a criminal past, what did he do? I want to know if I'm a hypocrite.
johnny the fox Posted 26 July 2014 Posted 26 July 2014 Am I right in saying Vardy has a criminal past, what did he do? I want to know if I'm a hypocrite. A few minor sheep worrying charges..It could happen to any regular guy into camping..
jammie82uk Posted 26 July 2014 Posted 26 July 2014 Am I right in saying Vardy has a criminal past, what did he do? I want to know if I'm a hypocrite. He was once charged with assault and had to wear a tag He did an interview last year about it and If I remember rightly he was defending a disabled friend who had been attacked
johnny the fox Posted 26 July 2014 Posted 26 July 2014 He was once charged with assault and had to wear a tag He did an interview last year about it and If I remember rightly he was defending a disabled friend who had been attacked Its a mere bagatelle.. I don't trust anybody who as a young bloke has not had a brush with the law...they must of been living in a cave.... or as boring as fook.
chapero82 Posted 26 July 2014 Posted 26 July 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-18584603 sounds cowardly to me
lestajigs Posted 26 July 2014 Posted 26 July 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-18584603 sounds cowardly to me Why are we going over old news!!!
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 26 July 2014 Posted 26 July 2014 Am I right in saying Vardy has a criminal past, what did he do? I want to know if I'm a hypocrite. He was once charged with assault and had to wear a tag He did an interview last year about it and If I remember rightly he was defending a disabled friend who had been attacked Vardy's wasn't a one off incident, he went through a phase of getting into quite a few scraps outside nightclubs in Sheffield and this was the one that he finally got sent down for. The wearing the tag was after he had come out of prison (don't know how long he served). The birth of his daughter was a big part of him sorting himself out and applying himself with his football. That said, he's an example of the motivation it can serve having been in a situation such as his and Deeney's - looks like Deeney has changed for the better too which is why I wouldn't count his discretions against him.
johnny the fox Posted 27 July 2014 Posted 27 July 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-18584603 sounds cowardly to me yip, but we were on about vardy mate... kicking a bloke in the head is very bad.... but at least he buried his head in the corner..
MPH Posted 27 July 2014 Posted 27 July 2014 There is no way on this earth that Pearson would go after Deeney if he had any doubts about his character. Jail time for deeney served it's purpose - he has been rehabilitated.
