MC Prussian Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Talks about an injury-plagued season with Basel. Could be another Upson I didn't know Diaz was a 35-year old defender.
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 This would be an excellent signing. Unfortunately, for the price, it seems to be good to be true. Which means it probably is.
Webbo Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 But they are competing. Unlike Leicester. If Stockport County played in the Swiss league they'd be competing instead
Bamba's Babes Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Proper signing this. Would prefee him over Csmbiasso.
Roy M Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Sure basel are managed by the great paulo sousa BTW: Despite our memories from Sousa, he had big season with MTA in Israel and the EuropLeague
Out Foxed Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 BTW: Despite our memories from Sousa, he had big season with MTA in Israel and the EuropLeague is he backpacking round europe or something. swansea, leicester, videoton, mta, basel.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Three medicals scheduled in for Monday. All for Cambiasso
foxholecharlie Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 This would be a hell of a signing. Lets hope it doesn't go over a hundred posts, or I fear it will not happen.
roblcfc84 Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Three medicals scheduled in for Monday. Who mate?
Legend_in_blue Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Three medicals scheduled in for Monday. Two training sessions scheduled in for Tuesday.
MC Prussian Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 so hope this is true Because you know how good he is or because you're craving for the club to just sign someone?
st albans fox Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Two training sessions scheduled in for Tuesday. Isn't it two French hens ? thus guy is good. Really can't see why he would come on our salary structure. It's not a final contract like EC. There will be other PL clubs who would want him and pay more. I think we need to be setting our sights a bit lower if we want to see deals come to fruition. I assume the club is.

He won't be earning £30,000 a week at Basle.
MC Prussian Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 A few weeks ago and following the 2014 World Cup, Diaz mentioned to the Chilean press that he intended to move on club-wise. You won't hear from him any more on this matter directly for a few more weeks though, as he's stated he will not talk to the media again until the start of September.
MGLCFC Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Think we lack some physical presence in midfield and whilst this guy is a very creative player by all accounts at 5ft 5" isn't going to give us that.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Two training sessions scheduled in for Tuesday. One match scheduled for today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
MPH Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Which'd be nice. Cambiasso looking dead in the water then. Ones a defensive mid, the other is a playmaker so it'd be off if you were right. ...
Babylon Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Talks about an injury-plagued season with Basel. Could be another UpsonUpson didn't miss a game last year. Injuries happen.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Sounds promising, he's only 5'5! DIMINUITIVE DIAZ.
st albans fox Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 He won't be earning £30,000 a week at Basle. I'm talking about what other PL clubs will offer him.
