foxfanazer Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Personally i'd be looking for a Callum Mcmanaman or Nathan Redmond type! I think both of those will cost far too much though. That Dyer has done well at Watford, scored a few goals and they have just sacked their manager too! Been suggesting McManaman for a while now. Would be a very good signing imo
Stadt Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Sunderland listening to offers for Danny Graham? Have to wonder why Middlesbrough didn't make that move permanent though.. Because he's shite
bald reynard Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Interesting........who else is in the running??? Majeed Waris was a likely target only a few days ago - his name hasn't come up in speculation recently.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Sunderland listening to offers for Danny Graham? Have to wonder why Middlesbrough didn't make that move permanent though.. Because he's not that good... Think Nige should get Esteban to have a word in Falco's ear - after all he wants to come to Leicester really, not a third rate Manchester side.
johnny the fox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 The countdown to Arry leaning out of the car window has begun... and the quote " we are trying to do a few bits and bobs, but its difficult"...Its what I live for.
Adster Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Love it how Sky go to the reporter at the King Power and all Rob Dorsett does is talk about Stoke.
5waller5 Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 I've got a first date tonight .... Bad timing .... If you see a middle aged bloke behind a sky reporter with a slightly awkward looking dark haired girl ... it's me and I persuaded her that it'd be fun!!!
RizLCFC Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Rob Dorsett on SSN just said Leicester want Powell, but can't get through to right people at MUFC, who are busy doing their deals.
Swarles Barkley Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 You would think Man U would first prioritise loaning Powell to us rather than signing falcao. Selfish fvckers
Austin Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Dorsett mentioned Powell, let's get that done!
Brenfox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 It just amazes me. Clubs have had weeks to do business but it goes crazy on the last day. I know one transfer can trigger a few as clubs need replacements but ffs get it done sooner.
RizLCFC Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 He's more of an Attacking Midfielder/Striker, not a CM.
The Blur Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 He's more of an Attacking Midfielder/Striker, not a CM. Well, if he plays then who do we drop in his place?
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Well, if he plays then who do we drop in his place? I'd imagine... Nugent.
Spanner73 Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 I can't see why nigel wouldn't go for Defoe he's all what deeney is only better , wages may be the prob !
benpicko Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 https://twitter.com/fourfourtweet/status/506380739320238080 You'd think that when we moved from McGoldrick to 'alternative targets' they would actually have a higher chance of happening rather than a lower one
johnny the fox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Defoe will not come here.. sick note anyway.
Babylon Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Well, if he plays then who do we drop in his place? Why does someone have to be dropped, it's about options and covering injuries etc.
Matt Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 With Falcao going to United and Danny Welbeck Surplus to requirements, a loan deal maybe? I'd like Welbeck but when I suggested him in another thread the other day I think someone told me Tottenham and another club are strongly interested and there is talk of £15m for him. I think he'd cost too much money, a fee and wages, think Powell would be much better value. Would like love Defoe aswell but again money is the issue, I think we have the money but it's just fear of upsetting the rest of the team seeing Cambaisso coming in on no doubt big wages to be followed by Welbeck or Defoe. Besides I doubt there is anything in the Defoe rumours and I havn't seen us linked with Welbeck I think it's just who fans would like to come, i've seen no links or rumours.
FrankieADZ Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 what bout Scott Sinclair....could be worth a go
kingfox Posted 1 September 2014 Author Posted 1 September 2014 CB, Powell & Striker for me. Carrying on with three fit centre backs is risky, don't want injuries like we had in midfield. It seems we have always been interested in Powell, competition for Nugent to play behind Ulloa. Hopefully Tanner is right as well, didn't really want McGoldrick anyway.
Kitchandro Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 what bout Scott Sinclair....could be worth a go Wouldn't be against him at all, not sure it's a problem position though. Got 4 wingers already (not totally convinced by all of them though). If we bring in a striker we'll have 6, there's no need for that many but I'm not bothered if GTF doesn't get in the squad. Wood would probably leave though. If he's got real goal scoring quality I wouldn't say no to another. Wouldn't mind another left back/centre back but other than that I don't think we need anybody. I can't see why we'd need Powell.
