ScouseFox Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 stringer's commentary "you're in on goal jamie son, in front of the kop! VAAAARRRDDDDYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY"
Guest bennytwohats Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 I had to take my son back to Uni today so recorded the game and managed to avoid hearing the score until someone on the ferry back to the island shouted "Leicester have beaten United 5-3". Barsteward!!!! Fantastic result!!!! I spent all day in the office studying, left my phone at home, told everyone I saw not to tell me the score... Get home, crack on the game, get to 60 mins and we are 3-1 down before my housemate bounds in and tells me the score despite me telling him not to. Mortified. But what a result!!!
AmyLGK Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 stringer's commentary "you're in on goal jamie son, in front of the kop! VAAAARRRDDDDYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY" YES YES YES YES!!! just INCREDIBLE passion!!!!!! xx
AmyLGK Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 How many time is too many to listen to/watch the goals?? Cause I'm on repeat like a crazy person....
fazzyfox Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 I daren't watch the replay, there's no way we can come back from 3-1 down to win 5-3 twice in one day
Guest bennytwohats Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 And we deserved it. For Man Utd fans to have the gall to complain about a penalty given against them is the ultimate irony. I remember when we got relegated in 07-08 ... , to be fair it should have never been a penalty, was a blatant foul on Rafael before and the penalty was soft. But that's the way it goes - I'm not complaining@ But really, for them to complain and you point to something that happened 7 years ago is pretty hilarious.
lgfualol Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 I just read a Man U fan saying Jamie Vardy fouled Blackett before his goal. A little shove when going for a header is a foul apparently. Pretty funny that Blackett was outstrengthed by Vardy.
Raw Dykes Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 I'm still not sure about the first penalty. I can see why you'd give it and I can see why you'd be upset if it went against you. However, I really don't think it would have affected the result had it not been given. They were still 3-2 up after that, anyway. What won us the match was, above all, our undying spirit. We were absolutely relentless. Didn't matter a jot to the players whether the score was 0-0, 0-2, 1-3 - they just carried on regardless - like machines. You cannot buy this. It's a wonderful thing to have. Besides, those bastards can't have any complaints about dodgy decisions after getting away with so much for so long. I'll be very interested to see whether this performance inspires other teams to go for Man Utd's throat. QPR showed everyone exactly how you shouldn't approach them, we've done the opposite, and it's paid off in style. Man Utd's defence is surprisingly bad, and they can't change it until January. I wonder where they'll be in the table by then.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 When you're in the Leicester, Rotherham and Barnsley MUFC Supporter's Club and you unveil your bad nonce of a flag pre-game to rile up fans then watch in despair as you get dicked by "only Leicester"...
Rincewind Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 I think it was Vardy who said in the interview after the game that they had done the research and knew the best way to compete was to exploit the weakness in their defense. This is where Peason is good. He also involves the players in tactics which has worked so far. because they have good relationship on and off the pitch there is a good camaraderie around the KP.
Kitchandro Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 No, Talksport. They have a listen again feature. it wasn't, they don't have the 1.30 kick off anymore i don't think Found the talksport one http://talksport.com/radio/listen-again/1411300800
kingfox Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 What I've really liked about us so far is that, until today the likes of Vardy & Drinkwater haven't been 100% fit, while Matty James has also been out with an injury. Yet we've had to go into games playing the likes of Hammond, King & Schlupp who normally wouldn't start but have come in & done an incredible job, and with them in the team we've taken points off Everton, Arsenal & Stoke. Now we go into today with two of our best players back to full fitness & we end up destroying Manchester United. Despite playing really well in the first four games, just having Vardy in the team takes us up another level. Back to Hammond credit where it's due, he has come in and done a fantastic job, have been really impressed with him so far. Also credit to the likes of Paul Konchesky as well, very average at times last season but the start he has made has been surprisingly good, very consistent atm. Saying all that as well, we haven't even introduced Simpson & Powell into the equation yet, while the likes of Knockaert & Albrighton aren't even making the bench. Early days, but the togetherness of this team is top notch.
Phube Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Watching the highlights just one more time before bed!
65RosesFox Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 It mentioned on Sky Sports News a few minutes ago that this is the first time Man U have lost a Premier League game after having a two goal lead. That to me says it all, on how fantastic this result was.
ScouseFox Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 gonna print the top half of the table off about a million times an take them all to work an ask where liverpool are where everton are and where leicester are boom yeh bringggg on the sunderland an arsenallllll
Guest seanfox778 Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Literally one of the happiest days of my life. That feeling of going 1-3 down and hearing that roar from the Man Utd fans to the most unexpected joy of Esteban's equaliser was such a rollercoaster. When Vardy scored my legs turned to jelly and I felt faint, the celebrations were just mental. it was incredible. It's so amazing how a game of football can play with your emotions so much. The most fun I've had at a Leicester game in my life. I cannot wait for Palace next week.
blueonyou Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Just can't stop watching the highlights and Cambiasso's goal, just his reaction and celebration. Like it really meant something, real, raw emotion. Special. Would anyone have imagined this picture when playing MK Dons opening day in league1?

ian_marshall Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Was at the game and forgot to record it. Could someone please post links to a full match download?
Far Post Gerry Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 I was watching on my ipad in the departure lounge at Samui Airport. Everyone else must've thought i was nuts - randomly laughing and shouting. My missus was so embarrassed! Bloody amazing - will never forget that.
