SystonFox Posted 3 November 2014 Posted 3 November 2014 yes but the point is when playing for us he didn't look out of position on the wing, he looked completely out of place on a football pitch. he didn't look like he was unsure of his role as a winger, he looked like he was unsure of what playing football was. he didn't look like he'd never played on the wing, he looked like he'd literally never seen a football before. he looks alright for spurs at the moment (although yesterday's goal was a fluke and it's not hard to look more impressive than soldado). Use another analogy then maybe we will get the point.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 3 November 2014 Posted 3 November 2014 Still don't particularly rate him. And whilst with us he was dog shit
The Guvnor Posted 3 November 2014 Posted 3 November 2014 Regardless of what is said on here about his performances for us, personally I could see the potential in the lad, he is playing well for spurs and good luck to him!!
Fox92 Posted 3 November 2014 Posted 3 November 2014 im going to kill myself when he stars up front for england in a few weeks time Can't be any worse than Lambert playing for England.
Buzzell Posted 3 November 2014 Posted 3 November 2014 A thread about Harry Kane in the LCFC section? WTF is going on?! And who gives a **** about Kane?!
HitchinFox Posted 4 November 2014 Posted 4 November 2014 While he was played out of position at times, anyone who was at Ipswich that day we lost 0-1 and Harry Kane payed will know everything there is to know about him. Dreadful. He's in decent form but there are plenty of examples of mediocre players having an amazing run of games in which they play above their normal level. Personally, I'm praying Ulloa isn't one of them.
Silverdaz Posted 5 November 2014 Posted 5 November 2014 Nah, not well done. I only wish him bad things in his career. He was appalling for us and put in no effort. I could not stand him. He's scored a bunch of Europa League goals against teams we've never heard of anyway, you can barely even call that free kick his goal the deflection was so big. his performaces for England U21's have been first class cant wait to see him and Berahino progress to the full team
JP the Fox Posted 23 November 2014 Posted 23 November 2014 Looking at Harry Kane's recent upsurge in form for Tottenham shocks me. Wen we had him on loan two years ago he was a player that was lazy, couldn't pass and never really found the back of the net. AND THAT WAS IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP! It just goes to show that if you love the club you're playing for you'll play better. And I was wondering if that is what we need, obviously we have Liam Moore (Que the "he's one of our own" chants) but I wanted to start a feed asking if any other clubs have these types of players?
bovril Posted 23 November 2014 Posted 23 November 2014 It was two years ago and he was often being played out of position or coming on as a late sub, I don't see why it's so surprising to some people that he's doing well.

ScouseFox Posted 23 November 2014 Posted 23 November 2014 i could score a couple of europa league goals and a tap-in vs hull come on stop listening to the media so much and just watch him be a pretty average footballer who is admittedly on a purple patch. they'll be done with the europa league in a few weeks and he won't score against any decent teams in the premier league because no matter what sky or whoever have you believe he's still not a very good striker, and then hopefully in a few months we can all forget he ever existed.
theessexfox Posted 23 November 2014 Posted 23 November 2014 Commentators raving over him scoring an open goal without moving. Not mentioning his appalling header.
StanSP Posted 23 November 2014 Posted 23 November 2014 You also have to realise he was young and on loan for us. He wasn't the finished article and Leicester fans predominantly expect too much of many players.

You just know he'll score against us Boxing Day

Brooksy Posted 23 November 2014 Posted 23 November 2014 He's still gash, just going through a purple patch.
ScouseFox Posted 23 November 2014 Posted 23 November 2014 You just know he'll score against us Boxing Day wouldn't surprise me. would probably be down to awful defending rather than harry kane being odds on for the next ****ing ballon d'or though
JP the Fox Posted 23 November 2014 Posted 23 November 2014 defo worthy of all 3 threads youve started *head in hands, not sure how that happened and not sure how to eradicate it
foxes_rule1978 Posted 23 November 2014 Posted 23 November 2014 I guess if you play a striker upfront rather than on the wing it results in better performances...
ealingfox Posted 23 November 2014 Posted 23 November 2014 Another forward that Pearson just couldn't nurture.
