Len Finsbury Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 I don't think we looked like a bottom of the league side at all. A point at Anfield is nothing to be sniffed at under any circumstances but to get it by playing well rather than just defending well was a plus for me. Hopefully this'll be a turning point. It's almost a shame that the FA Cup is this weekend. I hope it doesn't affect the momentum.
Out Foxed Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 anyone but was and we may have won that. still....glad we didn't lose after a joke performance by the ref.
stingray Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 brilliant. now let's push on and win some more games now confidence is back
Sunbury Fox Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Great effort from the lads. Shame all of the other bottom teams picked up points.
Bettsj2 Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 So happy with this. We are going so stay up. We are actually going to stay up. God what an idiot I was. I was lost but now i'm found. PRAISE NIGEL!!!! YYYYYEEEEAAAAHHHHHH LEEEEIIICCCEEESSSSTTTEEERRR!!!!!
hackneyfox Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Result like this can also make it easier to attract decent players. Hopefully
One Legged Beaver Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Can't fault the lads. Unlucky not to win the game!
GingerrrFox Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Leicester 2 - 2 Mike Jones Says it all. We were robbed of 3 points in that game. The better side for the majority and we put the ball in without the help of the **** ref.
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Fantastic comeback. Got to look at the positives even though at least one of penalty decisions was truly shocking and we arguably should have won.
The Guvnor Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Poetic justice after shite decision from the ref, awesome resolve shown from all the team!!
Babylon Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 this was the team that nearly won the title last year? We did win the title. :xmascool:
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Fact is them 2 points could be the difference between staying up and going down. Ref won't be held to account, he'll be jogging round ballsing stuff up next week care free. Disgusting.
indierich06 Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 So happy we fought our way back in, but also so frustrating because we should be sitting here with three points rather than one because of a twat referee.
bovril Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Deserved to win. Everyone else picked up points so it's as you were. Just need to win those home games....
Corky Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Well deserved point, perhaps should have been 3. I hope the Schlupp haters are having second thoughts. Don't think anyone hates him, just frustrated because he could do better. He is currently, which is fantastic as it's helping the team. So now we lose him for a few games
Foxhateram Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Great result, performance was very good. Impressed by that. Hopefully we can continue to build on this. Other results not gone entirely for us though. Two great goals today as well. Good to see us scoring from other areas of the field I.e. schlupp, and great to see Nuge on the score sheet. All in all a good day. It's just a shame the ref gave two controversial penaltys, as I think we could have won that other wise
MC Prussian Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 I do hope this signals some kind of turnaround for us now. The form curve is pointing upwards and there's loads of positives to take from today's performance. Mahrez' creativity will be missed for Villa, but I do hope Albrighton steps up to deliver the goods instead. Could do with a few decent crosses to find Ulloa's head once more.
lcfcsnow Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Schlupp and Mahrez were outstanding, just our luck that were without them for a month now.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Going to miss Mahrez & Schlupp very much.
Durnerz Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 But for the referee it would have been ours to take home.Incredible team performance, Wasyl, James, Schlupp and Mahrez were immense, Nugent took his goal like he'd been banging them in all season long.Concerned with Morgan still but every other player in the side today performed brilliantly.Schmeichels going to have a job displacing Hamer, looking better and more rounded with every game.Schlupp MOM.
