Unbeaten in 3. Fantastic.

Where are all the people who say they don't care about the FA Cup? Bet they're secretly celebrating this.

England's most prestigious competition since 1871, let's have a bit of respect for it shall we?

I agree. This competition is a boost for struggling league sides, and works wonders for self belief.

PS. who got the assist?? 5 live said James but on Facebook the Leicester page said Knockaert?!

Stringer said James.

Great win today. We must keep up this momentum going into the Villa game. Another proverbial 6 pointer that one.

Ulloa again. How we've needed his goals already this season.

Good week for City

Well done boys.

Good service is all Ulloa needs, and he's not seen much of it this season. The service has improved, and now he's putting them away.

Let's keep this going.

Of all our strikers, he's pretty much our only goal-scorer of any note. The supply has always been the issue buddy. Improve that, he'll keep scoring.

John carver booed by Newcastle fans!

They drive Pardew out of the club and then boo the caretaker! Disgusting really! I hope they go down myself!

Disgusting club, disgusting fans.

Same goes for Liverpool - they've shown very little respect to Gerrard in recent months for all he's done for the club

I posted this after the Liverpool game;

Liverpool are slowly getting 'up there' with Arsenal as for my hated teams.

Fans are idiots,  they think their bigger than they actually are, and I know this one has been a big one for many years it's never really bothered me till recently - There feeling over everything being an injustice towards the club.

I used to quite like Liverpool aswell, and their famous now non-existant atmosphere. (Unless its was just hyped up and has always been shit apart from the odd occasions)

My thoughts are pretty similar about Newcastle.

Except i've never really like Newcastle.

I don't think they were booing Carver. All their anger was directed at Ashley (as per) and the players, who put in a horrendous performance. I don't blame them either, if id traveled that far to see the team put in a performance which lacked effort, urgency and any passion I'd be livid too.

As for us, decent performance and into the next round, which is all that matters.

Drove Pardew out..... Thank Christ they didn't manage to achieve that with Pearson......

Careful what you wish for they say......

Can see Newcastle really struggling now....

I'm pro FA cup, would I prefer to see leicester lift the trophy but get relegated, difficult one but I'd probably accept that. Anyway a wins a win and you can't argue against that!

I'm really pleased by that win, and especially by what sounded like solid performances by Albrighton, Moore, Lawrence, James etc. Both managers made seven changes from New Year's Day, but it seemed like our second first team was playing against Newcastle's reserves.

Winning is a habit, so let's hope we are getting it.

Solid performance, as per usual we let the opposition have a lot of the ball early on but never looked in any danger except for the break from our attack when good fortune shone on us and the flag went up. After that they looked toothless going forward and seemed happy with pretty interchanging passes in the middle.

Thought Moore was pick of the defenders today, De Laet was a good attacking full back but had a couple of near suicidial moments near the end, Morgan still worries me but good in the air today. Konchesky looks low on confidence on the ball.

Midfield did ok, all wanted the ball especially Lawrence and Knockaert although their decision making wasnt always great and sometimes wasteful. Allbrighton looked dangerous but tired towards the end even though he didn't play full 90 mins.

Nugent and Ulloa did ok, better than their replacements.

All in all decent performance against a poor side and another win to keep the momentum going. Bring on Villa and 3 points please.
