Good veggie restaurants?

Turned veggie after Rome pretty much to lose a bit of weight and to stop me eating out and spending cash. It’s definitely worked on both fronts but would be good to find some places that do good options.

Mithaas and Kayal are pretty much my go to’s

Cheers

Can only say for 8ndian veggie food but

Indigos near the Sainsburys on Melton Rd.

Cheap n cheerful option is chai panini on the Golden Mile.

We went Herb in town last year which was really nice( Not cheap n cheerful)

Yeah indigos is excellent as well. Wasn’t that impressed with Herb but might give it another go.

Indigos is one of my favourite restaurants in the world, not sure about it if you’re trying to be healthy though

If you like that try Mithaas on Narborough road, very similar but cheaper.

Mithaas is also v good agreed, but I prefer indo- Chinese veg to pure Indian veg, hence love indigo. Crispy aubergine there is unrivalled

Just looked at the menu online, you’re spot on. Apologies. I went on the Sunday after the soton home game, clearly that memory completely left my mind

Fancy or inbetween, not too fussed about the cost.

The Wilderness is one of the best restaurants I’ve been too. It’s in the jewellery quarter.

Maurizio’s was incredibly authentic. Banging pizza, inattentive staff and a toilet that looks it was tiled and plumbed by paraplegics

Anyone been to Istanbul on Narborough Rd? We're looking for somewhere for a prematch meal on Monday - and other mid-week games. Used to go to the Distillery, but the new menu isn't great.

Edit: parking off Narborough Rd and meeting mates at Nine Bar, so location looks handy.

It’s a dry restaurant just as a heads up

Loved it, like others have said no alcohol though.

Will give it a try on Monday. Hopefully they open Mondays. Would normally avoid no alcohol restaurants for a night out but driving to the game, so it's not an issue.

A group of us go evening games from work so usually go for a meal and a couple of drinks. We used to go the parcel yard but they came unreliable for food so we moved onto Shimla Pinks although are considering what used to be The Tiffin on London Rd.

We did think about the Turkish place opposite but again there’s no alcohol so it got vetoed by a couple of the guys

New menu coming in too. Seriously under-rated how good it is

Very Naples - when he had his place at Braunstone Frith, was it ****ing hilarious that effectively the front door opened up to his oven.

Yeah I can’t believe it’s not got a Michelin star.

I'm being dragged to the Rugger on Satdee. Give me your best post game dinner gaffs so I have at least one thing to look forward to.

Any recommendations near Seagrave? Off to the U21's match tomorrow night and contemplating eating enroute/nearby.

I like the Badger's Sett in Cropston, probably about 10-15 minutes away?
