lestajigs Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Palace have the catchiest song ever. Full credit to them here, one of the better home support
SystonFox Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Douglas Maybury Kisnorbo McCarthy Nils Eric Johansson Sylla Hughes Williams Porter Hume Fryatt Subs : Hammond, stearman, Henderson, Tiatto, de Vries
Bettsj2 Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Douglas Maybury Kisnorbo McCarthy Nils Eric Johansson Sylla Hughes Williams Porter Hume Fryatt Subs : Hammond, stearman, Henderson, Tiatto, de Vries This. Except i'd have Gerrbrand over Maybury.
jammie82uk Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Douglas Maybury Kisnorbo McCarthy Nils Eric Johansson Sylla Hughes Williams Porter Hume Fryatt Subs : Hammond, stearman, Henderson, Tiatto, de Vries That can't be right there is no Vardy on the wing
Propereagle Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 I think that's their two best players out so we really need to capitalise on this. We need to start winning our home games even against the better teams. If only we could have QPR's home form, they can keep their away form, though. Hi, palace fan here. We have been without both players for the last month and have been playing our best football so far this season. Taking over 3000 fans Saturday aswell Good luck and enjoy the game

I'd imagine you'll get even better once those two are back in and will see out the rest of the season pretty comfortably. Hope you enjoy the match, just not the result...

Good postCrystal Palace will be well clear of relegation come the end of the season. Good club, decent fans and now they have a decent manager. Leicester win
glenelgfox Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 We win and I will remain optimistic about survival but lose this week and with approaching games to fear, I think we may be too far behind safety in a few weeks. Win will get not only 3 points but another decent shot of confidence.
Babylon Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 Absolute must win game. Simple as that. Errrrr no it's not.
Stevosevic Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 Douglas Maybury Kisnorbo McCarthy Nils Eric Johansson Sylla Hughes Williams Porter Hume Fryatt Subs : Hammond, stearman, Henderson, Tiatto, de Vries Worse than the team we actually got relegated with.
Corky Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 Errrrr no it's not. We can't keep saying "we're only three points away from x and y", we need to win this game and get ourselves off the bottom as we should do with Hull at Man City. Getting above 20th could be a boost to everyone.
st albans fox Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 Thinking that pardew will come for a point (keeping us 6 pts behind them is paramount to him). That means they will try and draw us on and break with Zaha/puncheon/Gayle pace We havent looked good trying to break down opposition but if Riyadh is back and EC is selected, maybe krama can make a half chance stick ?
dbtcity Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 I think it will be a re run of the game at there place if schwarzer starts, batter them for the majority of the game but struggle to get the first goal only for them to go a grab a couple from set pieces
Dan Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 Nigel Pearson's side have netted just three goals in their last seven home Premier League games. what a horrible stat FFS Blimey. To think how hard this ground has been to come to for a while as well. That's dreadful home form. Would I be right in saying we've only scored 5 home goals since Man Utd?
Dan Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 i know Jednik is injured but i thought Bolaisie would be back form AFCON Nah. They've got the third place play-off
Finn Claw II Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 No fooking about - 3 points tomorrow is a must. If we play the right team we can beat them
Fox Ulike Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 Blimey. To think how hard this ground has been to come to for a while as well. That's dreadful home form. Would I be right in saying we've only scored 5 home goals since Man Utd? I think it's 3 home goals since the Burnley game. 0 WBA - Nugent/Vardy 0 Sunderland - Vardy/Ulloa 1 Liverpool - Vardy/Ulloa 0 Man City - Vardy lone striker 1 Spurs - Nugent/Ulloa 1 Villa - Nugent/Ulloa 0 Stoke - Nugent/Vardy In all those games we've only scored one goal with Vardy on the pitch.

Getting above 20th could be a boost to everyone. I've not said anything contrary to that, what I've said is that It is not "must win", it's a nonsense saying trotted out all bloody season long, we've already had about 8 "must win" games according to a load of people on here. It's must win when it's mathematically impossible if we don't. What it actually is, is a very bloody important game. But, should we fail there are still enough changes to get ourselves out of it.

And prior to that... how many have we scored with him starting?

I don't think there are any more chances after this game. We have got 3 away games after this: Arsenal, Everton and Man City. If we don't win tomorrow then we'll be cut adrift after the man city game. 27 games played and 17 points. There will be no coming back from that. This is a "must MUST win" game if ever there was one. Mathematics have got nothing to do with it Einstein
Fox Ulike Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 And prior to that... how many have we scored with him starting? Jeez. You do know i'm not employed by Foxestalk to research LCFC stats don't ya?? Edit: 13 all season with Vardy on the pitch. Obviously 5 of them against Man United. He hasn't scored in 19 games now. Can you imagine any other team benching their top goal-scorer to play a striker who hadn't scored for 18 games? That's what we did against stoke.
cc_star Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 Very important game Certainly not must win though But it would be one hell of a boost if we did, especially if we climbed off the bottom There's a whole group of teams who are much of a muchness and we've already closed the gap, so bunching it up further would be amazing as would getting ahead of someone
davieG Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 Getting off the bottom of the Barclays Premier League table will be an important moment for Leicester City according to manager Nigel Pearson. The Foxes have occupied bottom spot since defeat to Queens Park Rangers last year, but a recent upturn in fortunes means that victory against Crystal Palace at King Power Stadium this weekend could lift them out of the bottom three. While the manager acknowledges that it’s the position after 38 games that matters most, he knows that climbing the table will provide a big boost for players and fans alike. "We've been bottom for a while,” said Pearson “And there is always an incentive to know that the three points can get us out of there. "It's where we are at the end of May that's the most important thing. Psychologically it will be nice to make some progress. "There are some games that look more winnable than others but the reality is not always that straightforward. "There's always a bit more pressure on players performing to get that elusive win we need.” Despite City’s league position, the mood within the camp has remained consistently positive and unwavering in the belief that the squad have the quality to survive in the division. He added: "I don't think they play with anxiety or fear. Success this year is a totally different animal. We need to make sure our performances give us that best chance. "I don't know whether people make the assumption that because of our league position there is a sense of negativity. "We need to try and keep a lid on how expectations and perceptions change. We still have catching up to do, we need to try and stay in contact. The pressure is always on us to improve those results. "We've probably exhausted our margin of error with such a bad run before Christmas but there's a strong belief we can finish the season positively.” Read more at http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/pearson-aims-to-climb-the-table-2250815.aspx#YjC5OPcOgmyzgBB5.99

As you say though, this is one of the games we have a realistic chance of winning. As we run out of games left to play we need to be picking up maximum points as often as possible from these games.
