Bettsj2 Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 We're going to lose aren't we? I hate feeling like this about a game.
Finn Claw II Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Any news on Hammond and Cammbiaso? Midfield selection is key.
jammie82uk Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 it's stat time again Leicester have won just one of their last eight home Premier League games (W1 D2 L5). Crystal Palace have scored exactly two goals in their last three matches against Leicester City. These two sides have been fairly evenly matched in their league history, with the Foxes winning 18 times, Palace 17 and 14 draws. Crystal Palace have lost just one of their last six Barclays Premier League away games (W1 D4 L1). The Eagles have failed to score in five of their last seven away Premier League matches. Nigel Pearson's side have netted just three goals in their last seven home Premier League games. Leonardo Ulloa has committed more fouls than any other Premier League player this season (44). Leicester City have won none of their last 16 Premier League matches against London clubs (W0 D5 L11). Mile Jedinak has made the most interceptions in the Premier League this season (68). If Premier League games ended at half-time this season, Palace would be bottom of the table.
orbison Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Hamer Simpson - Was - Wes - Schlupp James - Cambiasso Albrighton - Nugent - Mahrez Kramarić really like this team, looks a much more quality side than started against man u, wish pearson would follow your lead.
Dan Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Leonardo Ulloa has committed more fouls than any other Premier League player this season (44). Surprised at that. Getting the Howard treatment I reckon. He gets fouled more than he fouls.
Dan Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Is there a bashing / hate in this thread? There were some idiots in the Man U match thread. But the vast majority have got him in their team, the only reason I can't put him in my own team is because I don't know what he brings to the table yet. That's nothing against him, I just don't know him like the management team will. I don't know exactly what he brings to the table beyond him looking a tidy finisher on youtube. That’s because there is no hate. You’ve created your own extreme version of someone else’s post. This is why some debates on here become so ridiculous, I’m questioning whether it was a good idea to buy another striker rather than an attacking midfielder/no. 10. I think we needed to improve on Nugent’s role, not Ulloa’s. I don’t think Kramaric does this. Therefore, the point is that we’ve spent our whole budget on a player who won’t get into the starting 11 unless we drop our top-scorer (or revert back to the 442 that has cost us so many points this season). Does that make sense to you? As Babylon rightly says, there was a fair bit in the Man Utd threads. There's been a bit of criticism in here but nothing too OTT I suppose. Kramaric could well improve on Nugent's role I reckon. A lot of the Rijeka fans were saying that he likes to drop deeper before starting attacks and as much as I appreciate Nugent does more than that, it could offer us a different way of going forward. Maybe even a more direct one as I'm pretty sure he'll be a better dribbler than Nugent. I will be surprised if he doesn't start. As I said before - they've spent nine million on him. That's quite a bit of money for a team who sit bottom of the table and it suggests to me that they're gambling on him potentially scoring the goals to keep us up.
GingerrrFox Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 It will be: Schwarzer Simpson Wasyl Morgan De Laet Albrighton Drinkwater James Schlupp Kramaric Ulloa I would like: Hamer Simpson Wasyl Morgan Schlupp Albrighton Cambiasso James Mahrez Kramaric Ulloa
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Merson has predicted a Palace win so happy days
Stevosevic Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Merson has predicted a Palace win so happy days Shows how shit people think we are
Aus Fox Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Pretty sure they will be without Bolasie and Jedanik, could be a great chance, we are almost at full strength. I would give Mahrez the last half hour to run at them here. Leaving Albrighton on the wing with Leo up top. If we can win this weekend there is every chance we are out of the bottom 3, a huge boost going into a tough run of games. If Burnley lose this weekend, with their next 6/7 games I simply can not see them recovering and finishing bottom. Huge weekend! Come on City!
Bettsj2 Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 After listening to Nige at the press conference today, I think the team could well be:- Schwarzer Was. Wes. Upson RDL. Schluppenator James. Cambiasso Albrighton. Mahrez Kramaric
benpicko Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Really hope he doesn't just change formation again after our current one was working before he made changes to it

Cambiasso Albrighton. Mahrez Kramaric We were shit when we played 3-5-2 a couple of seasons ago. Whitbread Morgan St Ledger if I remember rightly. Terrible
Guest MattP Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 We were shit when we played 3-5-2 a couple of seasons ago. Whitbread Morgan St Ledger if I remember rightly. Terrible We'd probably look shit in any formation with Whitbread and Shit St Ledger in the team. It's starting to dawn on me just how big this game is, we simply aren't going to pick up too many points over the next few weeks and really could do with this one. A loss could leave us in a maybe irreversible psychological position in a months time. First time I've said it but it might be a must win game.
Babylon Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Really hope he doesn't just change formation again after our current one was working before he made changes to itWas forced, was forced to make changes to it.

ousefox Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 We were shit when we played 3-5-2 a couple of seasons ago. Whitbread Morgan St Ledger if I remember rightly. Terrible Last season wasn't it? Changed to 4411 then murdered the league
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Nigel Pearson's side have netted just three goals in their last seven home Premier League games. what a horrible stat FFS
ScouseFox Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 i've got mahrez back and captain krama in my fantasy team with wasyl at the back. 3-0 win, krama hat trick and a trio of riyad assists THANKS
dpjfox Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 i know Jednik is injured but i thought Bolaisie would be back form AFCON
Torten Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 I think that's their two best players out so we really need to capitalise on this. We need to start winning our home games even against the better teams. If only we could have QPR's home form, they can keep their away form, though.
NewquayFox Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Why is no one picking The Huthenator..... ;0)
Phube Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Why is no one picking The Huthenator..... ;0) If joke then: 'I don't know, why aren't people picking the Huthenator?' If serious then: He's suspended for another game for being a naughty boy on Twitter...
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Absolute must win game. Simple as that. This
